We ask for age because our app deals with a sensitive health topic and we want to make sure we’re protecting younger users appropriately. The photo is entirely optional and only used to help track hair regrowth progress, it never leaves your device without your consent. The consent form exists to be transparent about exactly how your data is used, never to take advantage of you. We’re a very small team that genuinely cares about the trich community.
