Needs another feature

One thing that could be useful is if you made a mistake and saw a better option you can take back your last move for a better move.

Good program

The program still needs improvement like being able to change the color of the pieces and boards besides what is available. It should have some Star Trek sound effects which would be nice like a certain sound effect for AI thinking, piece move, castling and so on. Nonetheless it’s a very good program but one problem that needs to be addressed is that when the attack board is controlled say by black and I have a white pawn on it it won’t allow me to advance the board…..the boards should be able to be controlled by whatever color piece is on it and I have had several opportunities to advance the board in order to allow my pawn to be promoted but it won’t let me because it hasn’t given up the board to the color of the piece on it…..the opponent say black still controls the board regardless of the color of the pieces this is a tactical disadvantage that needs to be corrected

Response from developer

Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful review! We're glad you're enjoying true3DChess, and we appreciate your suggestions regarding customizable colors and Star Trek sound effects - great ideas we'll keep in mind for future updates. Regarding the attack board behavior: this is actually working as intended, following the official Tri-Dimensional Chess rules (rule 3.6): "An attack board can only be moved if it holds no more than one piece. Attack boards are controlled by the player whose piece is located on it." Control transfers to you once your piece is the sole occupant. You can find the full ruleset at https://meder.spacechess.org/3dschach/chess3d.htm Thanks again for playing, and we look forward to bringing you more improvements!
