Good 1st Book! 2nd book: “Captive of Fortune” on Apple
This is a great, fun read for fantasy genre fans! I had trouble finding the second book for my iPad because it’s called, “Captive of Fortune,” and that is DEFINITELY not the title linked at the end!!
I’m a fan of these continuation stories where you keep your progress. The Samurai of Hyunga series is like that, and I’ve replayed the 3 books several times!
I’m looking forward to this next book...

Suggestion
Love the idea of the sound track also could you put the meaning of some words in parentheses i personally don't know a couple of the words you use but still a great game
Disappointing
The story in this game felt a bit sparse and you didn't really feel invested in the characters enough.
Saves
A very fun game that I enjoyed immensely, but there is no option to save your file at the end of the game, even though there is an option to load saved games at the beginning of the next game. Please fix this
5/5
Amazing. A good beginning to a series
Crashes
I cannot give this game a fair rating because although I love these games, this particular game crashes immediately upon start up so I am not able to even have any opinion on what the game is about. I'm giving this two stars be cause I have faith that once this big is fixed this game will be fun. But until then this game is zero stars.

Good
Pretty good, but I kept dying at one part
Addicting
I love reading especially fantasy! It had good plot characters music and all. It was short because if the next volume but over all it was awesome! I have downloaded a lot of Hosted Games and choice of games and this is the top 5!
Ok
It's good quality loads of detail but short like really short !
Short.... Very short
Overall a good story, but really short. I also felt like several stats were missing, you had to make decisions about how to attack, with some options not available. Sometimes you failed what you attempted and it felt like there was a stat governing you success or failure, but there weren't any applicable stats in you stats menu. If they are there, it would be nice to see them so we have some idea what the strengths of our character is.

Has the potential
I bought this game while back, the latest updates are an improvement, however the story is still short. The writing is okay, the world is pretty good.. I like the music, looking forward for the second Part, I hope it is better than this first.
More!!
This game was incredibly entertaining, there needs to be more games like this in the App Store!
Excellent fantasy CYOA
Well written and entertaining, this interactive fiction app has an amazing adventure story with music and graphics.
great
please make part two i realy enjoyed this and cant wait for the next one
Fun, short, wordy
1) solid choice of game title
2) this is just one chapter, so adjust expectations accordingly. Not gonna lie, after Life of a Wizard epicness I felt kinda cheated
3) Author likes to add extra adjectives. Probably trying to be immersive, but ended up distracting me.
4) would have given 3.5 stars, but rounded up b/c I want more choice titles

Too short
It's pretty good with great writing, but it's too short.
Awesome!
This interactive novel is filled with a lot of cool lore and interesting choices. Great replayability with lots of interesting options to succeed.
Awesome
Finally another story that I actually like reading. I can't wait for the next chapter!
Great Game
Great Game, fun to play, really short though, Wish it was longer, companion should be able to shape shift into any of the choices instead of just one.
Entertaining but full of errors
This app is interesting enough if you are willing to look beyond its bugs, which are myriad. There is a misspelling on the very first page. Several pages are truncated, keeping you from reading the story, your faithful companion gets randomly renamed in scenes (which is, I'm sure, a coding error for custom names), The story also contradicts itself between pages (on one page you may spend all night working to replace a tool that was destroyed and on the next you're waking up bemoaning the loss of it, resolving to move on without one). If you're willing to look past all the mistakes, then I'd say go ahead with this app; I'd personally advise to wait until some polish is added otherwise though. Was this even beta tested?
Edit: I received a message from the author directly via Facebook due to my two star rating (not at all creepy) for the original release due to errors it contained. The message suggested I try the app again as many of the errors it had in its release had been fixed; I downloaded the app again but stopped once I ran into one of the same errors.
I was going to leave well enough alone (and leave the two star rating) before reading his rants posted online (on a forum I frequent) which bashed any of his reviewers that provided a 1-4 star rating. "Yeah; I have yet to read an intelligent review that's below a 4. I severely doubt I ever will," was one nice post of many.
If you can't take honest criticism, don't put a product out before it's thoroughly tested. Reviews are meant to provide customer feedback to other potential buyers and they will not always be 5 star ratings.
