What's New in TrialPad

26.6.1

June 13, 2026

• NEW / IMPROVED – Improved callout editing and undo behavior when using Presenter Notes, ensuring callouts remain responsive and can be removed individually. – Added the in-app volume control in the multimedia player, making it easier to adjust audio playback during video review and presentations. – Improved Exhibit Sticker assignment feedback so that alerts about skipped numbers remain visible until dismissed, making it easier to review bulk assignment results. – Ongoing performance and usability improvements. • FIXED – Fixed an issue in bulk Exhibit Sticker assignment where the first document could receive a duplicate number, ensuring numbering correctly skips already-used values from the start. – Restored the download progress indicator when downloading the Bare Arms sample case, providing clearer feedback while the download is in progress. – Fixed an issue where the Share and Bookmark buttons could disappear after sharing a document via email, ensuring both toolbar actions remain available. – Additional bug fixes and stability improvements. Please let us know if you encounter an issue or have other feedback. Easy and effective

I use this software in every trial and love it. It is functional and easy to use and very effective. I highly recommend recommended!

Use iTrial for trial presentation instead

Trialpad is a good piece of software, but it is no longer available as a standalone application. The publisher wants $600 per year to subscribe to Trialpad and other applications that most people neither need nor use. This just shows hostility toward the user and as a result they lost me as a customer.

Use iTrial instead. It has good features, it’s easy to use, and the price is at least tolerable.

Response from developer

Hi MWWTafuna, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We appreciate you recognizing that TrialPad is a good piece of software, and we understand that pricing is an important factor when choosing legal technology. At LIT SOFTWARE, we work hard to earn and maintain the trust of our customers by continuously improving our apps and ensuring they remain reliable, powerful, and intuitive. TrialPad is an essential tool for presenting evidence at mediation, arbitration, and trial, used by solo practitioners, large law firms, and government agencies alike. The LIT SUITE apps, consisting of TrialPad, TranscriptPad, DocReviewPad, and TimelinePad, is designed to support the entire litigation process. This includes the ability to sync, edit, and present video depositions (saving our users about $300 per deposition), bates stamp and produce thousands of pages of documents, create and present interactive timelines, and much more. Maintaining professional-grade legal software requires ongoing updates and improvements, especially with Apple's frequent iPadOS changes. TrialPad and the other LIT SUITE apps receive regular updates, often monthly, with new features and enhancements based on user feedback. In contrast, the alternative you mentioned has not had a significant update since iPadOS 14 (released in 2020) and has only received six updates since its release. For attorneys and legal professionals committed to delivering the best representation for their clients, investing in reliable, up-to-date tools is crucial. At $600 per year for the entire LIT SUITE, our pricing offers tremendous value compared to other legal software solutions. We are committed to delivering the best litigation technology available, and we hope you'll consider giving TrialPad another look. If you have any questions or feedback, we'd love to hear from you directly. Please feel free to reach out to us at support@litsoftware.com

Annoyed

Spent a lot of money on the app for it to be made basically useless to get you to buy a new app and pay a crazy subscription price

Love it

Love the design and utility of this applicaiton. Would definately recommed it to any lawyer friends that I have

If Iron-Man's suit were made for trial lawyers...

...this would be it. I have used a LOT of software in the decades that I've been trying cases, and this is the best: fast, intuitive, clear and powerful. Plus, it works on a Mac! Buy it now, thank me later.
