Unwelcome Gamifying

Tribefy is gaming views and notifications. Clear as day and not a fan. Haven’t really used the app since it’s implementation, since it reminds me of every cringe gamified app.

The all is a beautiful idea, really. Just be assured micro-transactions and gaming views is not the right approach. It’s not driving “community” like the app advertises and is featured around.

Here’s 3 ideas better than gaming views and dms
- paywall local posts and make comments free. This allows for everyone to come and interact with the app.
- everyone is publicly located to their region, with any data they want hidden paywalled. e.g. recently online, map location, comments/posts/etc
- implement ads. Paywall no ads.
- free 1 day membership trial to test features

Meet people nearby easily

This app has made it so easy to meet up with friends and other people in my social circles. This app is like a fine wine, it gets better with time. It’s also a great way to find cool things to do in my city. A+++

WORSE than existing social media

The privacy of this is even worse than traditional social media. You can’t use the app if you don’t share your location. I couldn’t even make it past the sign-up phase because I refuse to sell out my friends by sharing all of my contacts with this sketchy company.

Great for meeting new people with the same mind set

Fantastic idea! Love that you can hand pick people with the same interests. I run a group of people that are into making real friendship! What better way to get more people involved than finding them based on their interests.

GAMECHANGER

This social media app is like none other. The idea is stellar; it encourages more in person interaction rather than the crippled model of social media apps today; the social media apps we have now are great at keeping individuals in loop but never encourages meeting up. Tribefy bands individuals of similar interests and gives an estimated location of where those people stay. It’s the next big thing. Easy interface and very specific cues that allows for easy promoting in numerous locations.

Great concept. Lovely looking app

Visually this app is beautiful
The set up process could be a bit more user
friendly in that I should not have to post something before being able to use the promised features.
I love the look of this app and the concept is
great! There is definitely a lot of potential for this app to become popular. It definitely feels more like a community/tribe than your typical social media outlets.

Excellent app to find tennis partners

One location-based tribe for all tennis players in the world! Now I don’t have to join 50 meetup and Facebook groups in one city just to set up a tennis game. It’s even easy to keep in touch with my friends when I travel. It’s really the only social app you need if you are actually social. :)

Great potential

The app has great potential to shift paradigm of social communication through digital technology. The app is built with humane values in mind trying to promote real life interactions while staying away from using abusive algorithms to keep you engaged. Five stars at least for the attempt to make things better but the quality of execution is also decent enough to start using it as a main replacement for all other social medial tools on your phone. For any new users coming I’d say give it a shot. There is a great potential here indeed.

Makes it easy to connect with people with same interests

Super easy app to navigate and post. I like the app main features of connecting with others of the same interests or “tribe.” And it is much less clunky and less noisy than other social media apps.
