About

Trilane analyzes your workouts from Apple Health — right on your iPhone: no server, no account, no tracking. Dashboard, goals, plans, race-day planning and workout details in one app — for athletes who want an honest understanding of their fitness. What Trilane does for you: • Dashboard with distance, pace, heart rate and training load — by week, month, year or all-time; with a comparison to the previous 1–3 periods. • Recovery & daily load as a cockpit: a recovery score from HRV, resting heart rate, sleep and respiration — and your daily load from training AND everyday movement, clearly rated with a daily recommendation. • Sleep coach: in the evening Trilane tells you when to go to bed to meet your sleep need — worked out from sleep debt, the day's load and your wake-up time. Plus optional reminders, a sleep balance with deep and REM share, how regular your times are, and the window in which your best nights begin. • Recovery and load over time: 30-day trends including your training-load ratio — read values with a tap. • Training form with a race-day forecast: fitness, fatigue and form over time — and with an active plan, a look ahead at how fresh you'll arrive on race day. • Intensity distribution (80/20): time in heart-rate zones, week by week — see at a glance how polarized your training is. • Calorie balance: burn and intake as a daily balance, macronutrients and a calendar heatmap across weeks — entries mirror to Apple Health. • Real per-kilometer splits and a pace trend, derived from your workout's distance-over-time series. • Heart-rate zones, elevation gain, calories, cadence and a route map for every running, cycling, swimming or triathlon session. • Five goal types: distance (e.g. annual kilometers, with a forecast), performance (target time for 5K / 10K / half marathon / marathon), event (countdown), streak (consistency, with a daily reminder) and weight (target weight with a trend forecast). • Personal bests across standard distances, with race predictions for distances you haven't raced yet and Critical Swim Speed from your swim times — tap an entry to jump straight to the workout behind it. • Training plans from templates or built manually, with per-session reminders that account for rest periods. • Race-day planner for triathlon, run, bike, swim, duathlon & aquabike: pacing splits per discipline, timed fueling (carbs, fluid, sodium), start-time weather adjustment, a context-aware checklist and PDF export. • Race mode: on race day, a Live Activity on your Lock Screen counts down to your next fueling. • Share as an image: turn any workout or your monthly recap into a story-format graphic — you decide which metrics are shown. • Home-Screen widgets: recovery & daily load, weekly distance, next session, active streak, calorie balance and a bedtime countdown. • Optional iCloud backup: your entries and settings survive device changes and reinstalls — in your own iCloud, off by default. • CSV data export: pull your workouts, training load, recovery and personal bests out as files at any time — your data is yours. Privacy by Design Trilane never sends any of your health data to us or to third parties. All calculations run entirely on your device. The optional iCloud backup (off by default) uses only your own iCloud; no data is sent to us. There's no account, no tracking, no ads. In iOS Settings you stay in control of which data types Trilane may read, at any time. Notes • Trilane needs read access to Apple Health to analyze your workouts. What's New in Trilane

2.1.3

August 22, 2026

• New — Sleep coach: in the evening Trilane works out when to go to bed so you actually meet your sleep need — from your sleep debt, today's load and your wake-up time. If tomorrow starts with a session, it counts. • New — Plus two optional reminders (wind down and lights out), a bedtime widget for the home screen and a morning briefing. • New — Sleep before the race: during race week your race-day plan shows the two nights you can actually plan, with the emphasis on the second-to-last. • Fresh app icon, a calmer launch — and the trend next to your total distance no longer breaks apart. • New — strength training finally counts as strength training: tell Trilane how hard the session was (1–10) in the workout detail. That becomes a load addition heart rate alone never sees — during a heavy set your pulse stays low, and the rest between sets drags the average down. Without an entry nothing changes. • Plus: half-filled forms are no longer lost, errors are named instead of swallowed, large text stays readable — and launching is noticeably faster.
