Excellent Trimix Tool

Results are accurate and correct for all mixes and top ups I have done and all of the corner test cases that I’ve tried. The interface is great and makes sense for Trimix divers and blenders. Well done! Thank you!!!

Excellent app

As someone who blends various mixes all the time, this little app has been a god send, there when you need it!

Nice program

Can do all my custom blends of trimix and nitrox. When making a lean trimix via a top-off from a banked nitrox and air, you will have to guess the the final helium content of the mix to where you are only "adding" ~5 psi of helium in order to get a calculated result.

To have the program do this would be nice, but would add another level of complexity.

Great app!

What a wonderful app works well with the trimix and nitrox dives. This is a useful tool for anyone who is calculating mixes.

FAQ

What is Trimix Tools?

Trimix Tools is a mobile application designed to assist divers with planning and blending Trimix gases. It offers features for calculating optimal gas mixes, determining dive limits, and managing cylinder fills, all accessible offline.

How does Trimix Tools calculate best Trimix?

Trimix Tools calculates the best Trimix based on your planned dive depth, desired maximum partial pressure of oxygen (PO2), and equivalent narcotic depth (END). It helps you find the optimal gas blend for safe and effective dives.

Can Trimix Tools be used offline?

Yes, Trimix Tools is designed for use offline, making it ideal for divers who are traveling on boats or working in areas with limited network connectivity. You can perform all necessary calculations without an internet connection.

Does Trimix Tools support both metric and imperial units?

Yes, Trimix Tools supports calculations in both metric and Imperial/US systems of measure. This allows divers from different regions to use the app comfortably with their preferred units.

How does the blending calculator work in Trimix Tools?

The blending tools allow you to fill a cylinder to a specified target Trimix by using oxygen, helium, and a topping mix. It also supports calculating the result of topping an existing partially filled cylinder or using a bleed down calculator to adjust mixes with minimal gas waste.

Can I save my custom Trimix mixes in Trimix Tools?

Yes, Trimix Tools allows you to save your custom mixes and recall them easily. You can also select mix values from pre-installed default mixes or your own saved custom mixes, and re-arrange or delete them as needed.

Is Trimix Tools suitable for beginners?

Trimix Tools is intended for certified divers who are trained in Trimix diving and blending. It is not a substitute for proper training or established dive planning methods, but rather a tool to support those who already have the necessary knowledge.

What is the price of Trimix Tools?

Trimix Tools is a paid application, available for $6.99. This one-time purchase grants you access to all its features for dive planning and gas blending.
