Unusable

I have ha Trip Boss Expense app for years and love it. I am on a vacation now and it is stuck on “updating currency rates “. So I decided to purchase Trip Boss Travel Manager for $9.99 and the same message appears. Cannot use. Please fix today.

Response from developer

Just wanted to let you know I fixed the updating currency rates bug. Thank you for your patience. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Don't buy

I really regret buying this. It's so not worth it and there are free apps that do more and work better and look better.

Great Place to keep all you're Travel Info

There is lots of detail here to keep track of all aspects of your trip. I'm sure I have not discovered everything this app will do for me. I especially like the tip calculator and expense tracker with the ability to record a picture of every receipt. It would be nice though to know where those pictures are stored and have direct access to them. As it stands, you have to e-mail them to yourself. Is there a you Tube or other video teaching how to use this app?

Not Very Smart

Paid $10 and immediately deleted it. I was looking for a smart app and I got a fancy tool to manually enter all my trip data (e.g. airfare, lodging, and car rental). I already do that in in Google Drive so I was looking for a smarter way to track my itineraries. Here's how I'd like to see it work:

Have me enter my travel related account login credentials *once* (e.g., airline sites, car rental companies, etc.) The app would then retrieve existing reservations for me versus having me to tell it all my existing reservations.

I tried TripTracker which worked like that when it worked. However, I couldn't get past the bugs. My search for a smart (automatic) itinerary tracker app continues…

Customizable & flexible

Love this app, doesn't constrain you like other apps do. If you're going to obscure places, you can add them to the app's list. Going mainstream? All the major airports included to start. I like how I can make my itinerary as detailed as I want. Looking forward to putting the expense part to use when I travel this summer.

I wasted $10

I just paid $ 10 for the application and when I use and I'll put the airport ... not it listed airport jacksonville, FL and the Puerto Rico.
So...I've thrown $10 on something that does not help...

Helpful App

I bought this app to use specifically for an upcoming trip and I'm still in the planning stages, so it's yet to be seen how the app will work during the trip. It does have include the functions I wanted - budgeting, itinerary planning - and they work well. I do wish that it synced between the iPhone and the iPad so you could look at the same trip on both devices. I would also like to see the itinerary format simplifies somewhat to include one line item for each activity, similar to what you see on a calendar entry. I would give it 2.5 stars: helpful, still in need of improvements.

Great app for business travel

I need it to do two things: log itinerary info, and manage receipts and file expense reports. As long as your company doesn't adhere to a very specific expense report format, and can accept the informal format that this app delivers, then this works like a champ.

Great APP

Easy to use and super detailed for tracking what we need to budget both business and family travel. Added the Journal and that's the only take away. Get the journal more versatile and you have the top travel app out there. Nice job!!

Trip Boss

I really liked the Itinerary version so I upgraded. I like the functionality, look and feel of the app and the format of the email notification. But what isn't there that I really, really want is the immediate synchronization between the iphone and ipad, the ability to rotate the screen on the ipad, and to see the itinerary in the ipad/iphone calendar. So I am also experimenting with Tripit. I don't like working with TripIt anywhere near as much as TripBoss, but it does synch the data effortlessly between the ipad and iphone as well as update my calendars. If the missing functionality was there, I'd rate this app 6 stars.

Great app

But wish there was a HD iPad app and a means (dropbox?) to sync between my idevices!

Great for planning!

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I wasn't able to customize for my trip. We are renting a condo, but there is no option in lodging to choose that. Otherwise, I have found the app quite useful.

Fantastic 

This is one thorough and very comprehensive App. There is a plethora of various categories to document every item and activity you need to catalog. I have had various itinerary and budget apps. in the past. Most were average at best. This one in comparison makes those look even worse than I initially thought they were.
I opted to also purchase the journal (which is offered inside the existing app) with the end result being a itinerary, budget and expenses, travel time calculator, journal, currency converter, and tip calculator(I'm sure I've forgotten something) all wrapped up into a single clean application. Very Nice
