What's New in Trip Planner

1.4.45

October 30, 2026

Stays, flights, activities, saved places, visas and documents now use the same form for adding and editing. Opening Pro from a form no longer clears what you typed. An activity's cost counts once in your budget. On the map, a stop's places start when its flight lands. Add on the itinerary uses the day you've selected. Invite opens the share sheet with your link straight away, and a journey without a cover photo shows its QR code in the middle. Notes open in a smaller composer, and an empty phone number row says what it's for. Setup now opens on where you're going next, and you can skip that question to look around an example journey first. If your calendar has no bookings, setup offers your forwarding address instead. Close the Pro page during setup and you get a one-time price for 30 minutes. Your budget now shows who on the journey added each expense, and you can sort the list by date or by amount. The stays, flights and activities you've booked appear in the list too, and you can correct a booking's price right there. Select several expenses to move them to another category or delete them together, and pick any month from a grid. When a card payment reaches two phones on the same journey, it's logged once. Flighty files open again, and you can import flights from an OpenFlights CSV. On a shared journey you can see which day and part of the map your companions are looking at. Hold an activity's icon to drag it to a new time or day, and tap the icon to change its type. On the days you arrive at a stay and leave it, your plan now says Staying in and Leaving. The globe now appears only on your Passport, with every place you've been, and every other map is flat. The phone numbers widget lists each number on its own row, and you can tap one to copy it. Back on the flight step of onboarding now takes you back. On the map, the journey cards now open on your flight out, and picking a day on the calendar moves them to that day.

User reviews

Great travel app

Just downloaded the app and it looks really promising. Very intuitive, lots of useful info, fast and really nice design overall.

Finally, an actually beautiful and useful travel app and organizer for nomads and travelers

I've been traveling as a digital nomad for about two years, moving countries roughly every month, and the visa side of things has always been the most stressful part. I used to end up googling entry requirements the night before a flight just to be sure. This app actually tracks that for me now, with a countdown for each visa, and it flagged that my passport was getting close to the 6-month rule before I'd even thought to check.

It’s also amazing having flights, stays, and each day laid out in one timeline instead of switching between five different apps. Incredibly it pulls details straight from my booking emails, so I'm not manually typing in flight numbers!

As a graphic designer I’m also so impressed by the design of this app. No clutter, no random extra buttons everywhere, just simple and easy to read even with a full itinerary loaded. This is the first travel app that has really gotten everything right for travelers.
