What's New in TripEase
1.7.3
September 26, 2026
Nothing in the app has changed since 1.7.2. If you are updating from an earlier version, this is what 1.7.2 brought: Planning now copes with losing the connection. With no signal, a bar across the top says so on every screen. Asking for a trip then waits on a screen that shows back what you wrote, and offers to carry on the moment the connection returns, rather than answering with a stand-in plan. Everything you answered on the way stays on the phone until the plan exists, so closing the app loses nothing: the planning screen offers to pick up where you left off. A change sent to a trip while offline leaves the trip as it was. Trips can change length. The date step lets you set how many days the trip runs. On a finished trip, a different length plans it again after asking first, and counts as one plan. The wait for a first plan has something to watch: your destination on a departure board, and a few drawn scenes you can tap through. The opening questions now ask about reminders once, as their last step. The sheet that used to appear after a first save is gone. Setting up a trip could stall on "Looking for things to do…". It now gives up after ten seconds and moves on. In the opening questions, a question with one answer moves on as soon as you tap it. The privacy policy was updated on 25 September. When a TikTok advert brings an install, AppsFlyer, which measures our adverts, now tells TikTok about it. About an install TikTok did not bring, TikTok is told nothing, and the app itself never talks to TikTok. You will be asked to accept the policy again once.
