Hello, thank you for the review and comment. Self-doubling option in settings allows the player who doubled to get double negative score without anyone else to get positive score. This is a special rule that some people use to play with but is not very common. The traditional scoring system is to keep this feature off, and when self doubling you add the positive score to the player that forced the card. For example, if Player A doubled a queen and then got it by playing it first, then he doesn't get double score. If player A doubled a queen and player B forced player A to get it, then you enter the score as if player B doubled the queen (so A gets -50 and B gets +25).
