Very poor functionality especially for the price of equipment
Your products costs hundreds to thousands each but your app feels like it was developed for $.99. The functionality of the graphs when trying to view anything else besides the last 24 hours, is zero. It rotates horizontally and makes it unreadable, no way to fix this. It would be great if you guys put a little effort into fixing it considering how much you make off of us. Thanks for penny pinching. Oy vey. Im sure thats a language you guys understand.

No notifications after recent update
After my app updated I don’t get notifications which is bad I’ve had my ac go out and it didn’t tell me my room got to hot until I clicked on the app and saw the alert

All was good until I stopped getting any notifications and almost lost my crop because of it! Fix it please!
Very Disappointing
Spent a ton of money on the Hydro X Pro and data station for the capability of remote monitoring. Worked great for a couple weeks, other than the delay in data. Worked with tech support for nearly a month, numerous firmware updates, and still nothing. The app stuck on a day and would not change. Tech even sent a replacement controller ( obviously it was a return because it had room names programmed). Same problem except this controller’s data was stuck on a different day. I tried all four TM apps with the same results. Deleted my controller from all apps and I randomly receive alarms. TrolMaster controllers and components are exceptional. The apps are a joke. I will be looking at other manufacturers for controllers with remote monitoring capabilities. **note how you are unable to enter a zero or 1 star rating.

Great controller, crappy app
The TrolMaster HydroX is awesome, works great with everyday use cases and is easy to install and set up. The app however lacks functionality and is very slow. Constantly freezing and not showing real time data.
Hard to figure out, but……..
I had trouble getting it all figured out…. Once I calmed down and did, it’s AMAZING!!!! Just take your time to learn….
Poor product poor customer service
Been calling for past few days and even had store switch out my system and still system won’t work it’s a issue w the programming from Trolmaster direct… called over and over and over and nothing
App problems
The app is slow, needs to improve but overall it’s okay to use if you have patience.
This app is great but one thing would make it so much better
App is amazing , customer support five stars , one thing I would like to see personally would be ... When looking at the temperature it would be useful to see an overlay of the humidity and Vpd was viewable as an overlay. So when I’m looking at 79 degrees at 5pm it would be great to know the humidity and Vpd at said time the days before without having to pinpoint that exact moment to look it up separately

Work great sometimes
I love the app other than I can’t seem to it to give me live updates. Constantly having to close and open app to get current readings. Maybe I’m doing something wrong.
Great but could easily be much better
The resolution on the graphs is trash. It’s pretty much meaningless to look at them when you have the data logged but can’t glean any useful info because all you’ve got is a zig zag line hovering somewhere between 70f and 100f. I’ve got some $20 cheap sensors that log data more usefully. The ability to control devices and equipment via the app, proper wiring, interfaces and connections is huge but I feel like y’all aren’t meeting me halfway with a proper user interface that can actually zoom in on and analyze data more usefully.

Very basic
Very basic controller app doesn’t let you control the alarms and doesn’t even give you a report of why the alarm is going off. Can’t set it to regular time everything runs off military time. It’s very basic and needs updating. Reminds me the first apple computer I used in 3rd grade

For all the money invested into the trolmaster, the app is a joke. Like literally a complete joke. Not a single reading on the app, match what the trolmaster shows in the room. And it’s not just off by a little. It’s like 15 percent difference in humidity. 500 ppm difference from the reading

Poor setup
I have issues setting these up almost every time. I have to call in and wait for phone calls back to have the system reset.. kinda stupid if you ask me

Trolmaster bugs/issues:
The graphing system is a wonderful concept with implementation that needs a lot of work.
1) change NULL values to a red dot or red line going from last recorded value to first recorded value after null. This helps the viewer ascertain how long the system wasn’t giving readings whilst not confusing viewers with a sudden drop.
2) Graphs should not be shown in the range 0 to 100 degrees if my sensor values are between 70-75 making the changing sensor values imperceptibly small on the graph. If my values over the given period are between 70-75 then make the graph boundaries 60-85 degrees or something similar.
3) Charts are incredibly powerful tools to immediately analyze and evaluate your room conditions. These charts need to be improved upon, massively. Why can’t one graph overlay all sensor data in the same chart using different colors?
-why can’t I manually override and turn on/off lights even outside of
—why do I need an SD CARD to do a firmware upgrade? And worse, I need to backup all settings and then restore those settings. Terribly inconvenient.
-Alarms should be immediate be more helpful

Nice equipment
I love this unit but besides needing to buy multiple parts to operate a totally automated system and the app doesn’t refresh as fast as I’d like I’d say it’s a great system for beginners as well as veterans also I think that the co2 sensor should be provided with the controller regardless it’s hard to swallow $200 on a sensor that should be a given because it is needed along with the temp and humidity sensors but overall I’m happy with the unit and I’ll just pick away at the needed parts slowly to build the ultimate system which will have a heavy price tag in the end but hopefully worth it

The best environment management available!
The features are great, the system has been flawless since I installed the first one and remote management is it excellent!
Never updates
Worst app. Great that it works fine with the HydroX but absolutely never is up to date or time with my hydroX pro I can have it open on three different devices on the same WiFi and the iPhone app will sit and sit and sit. I close and reopen the app made sure I killed it all the way. No change, turn my phone off and back on nothing. Straight up garbage between the %+- of error across all the devices I have no idea what’s truly going on ever in a 3k plant room. I resorted to cameras trained on temp/humidistat’s very near my “zone” controllers. Please fix this application interface with the HydroX pro.

App keeps crashing!
App was great but this issue should be fixed fast because there is a lot of money invested for it to work properly now I have to make double trips to the shop because it keeps crashing on me and now it is completely useless!
Does not work on IOS14
Used to work ok. Now I can’t even open the app without it crashing. I am updated to the latest version, but cannot open it without crash. Completely useless now....
