There’s no sound!

Really nice app IF THE SOUND WORKS

It's great that this app has a lot of features for just 99 cents, but the problem I have with it is that there is no sound when I tap on a note on my iPad 2. Only if this is fixed would I give a five star rating.

Could be better

When I first started the app I was impressed. I could tap on the ledger line, knowing it’s a bass clef and it tells me the note and plays what it should sound like, also showing me the slide position for the trombone.
The downside to this app is when I select the songs, the warm up scale, a great way to begin practice, all it does is highlight in blue which ledger line it is, no note value, no sound. A bit of a downer considering this has the potential to be a great app for beginning trombone players. I had to write down the ledger lines so I could tap them individually to get the note value, sound and slide position.
It’s like the app hasn’t been completed yet. I’m hoping this is the case and the songs will be completed with sound, note value and slide position. Please app developers….Please.

High Notes!

I bought this app to help me with high note positions and sound and it doesn't go above a high F.

Trombone

This has been very helpful for my beginning 5th grader. Two suggestions, however: It is very easy to hit the wrong note as the spacing of the staff lines are quite close together. It would seem a simple fix to make it easier for those of us with fat fingers (although before using this app, I never considered my fingers to be particularly fat!).

Second: it would be nice if the note would play for a longer period of time-- perhaps so that a student could match their note with the actual note coming from the app.

Other than that, a good program for 99¢.
