This app helps a lot with finding the notes to play and what positions to play them in. It helped me out so much as a beginner. Definitely recommend this!!
Perfect for learning trombone
I was looking for an app that would help me match my notes to what they’re supposed to sound like, and it does exactly that! It even includes a tuner and a metronome, it’s perfect! Also very easy to use. Thank you for making this app.
Excellent for beginners!
This app has everything I want and need. I’m frankly surprised no other reviews have been written. Only everything one needs for learning the trombone, it’s here. So it’s not an app for various instruments, instead just one. This is perfect for a beginner like me who just wants to practice and learn everyday. Of course no app is going to teach you the correct way to shape and position your embouchure, but the built-in tuner will at least help you manipulate it in order to hit a perfect note. Fab! The synthesiser built in is a bit naff, but the point is you get hear the correct note. What I would like to see are scales including some more esoteric scales including blues scales (since the latter work well with many styles) as the position slider is perfect and notes can worked out by ear. Hopefully the developer will add these in the near future.

Could be better
When I got this app I mainly wanted to use it for its virtual trombone as I already know how to play trombone quite well. When I downloaded this app though, I was pretty disappointed, as the virtual trombone doesn’t play very smoothly, it has a few seconds delay after you tap and hold to play a single note and is very slow to play. Honestly without the virtual trombone feature working properly it kinda just feels like any metronome and tuner app branded differently. Complaints aside though, I do gotta say, this app may still pretty good for beginners and people who have a hard time with knowing their positions. I hope the devs are reading this, PLZ fix virtual trombone !!!
