Buggy and rushed

This app is not user friendly, it cannot use your current location to find courses close to you. When booking it takes you out of app. When trying to find courses to golf at you need to google courses that Troon owns since you cannot type in a city and have it recommend courses.

App doesn’t work it iOS 17.4

I can no longer book any tee times with this Troon app. When I log into this app is get all types of warnings telling me I’m not authorized to use the app. The app needs to be updated ASAP.

Sorry

This app is useless. My local course doesn’t show. Hard to book tee times. Crashes. I have nothing positive to say. I’m sorry Troon.

Pathetic

Pretty sure that you can build an app that accommodates the screen size of the phone. It’s hard to use an app where the sign up screen doesn’t scroll down to show the “activate” or whatever button after entering your info and desired password. Try it on an Apple SE. You will see what I mean.

Hard to Use, Like a miniature web page

It’s hard to imagine that a company like Troon can’t merge both apps into one seamless and easy flowing application. Every time I move from the Troon Mobile App, it closes and I have to log back in via email and password. I always get the notification that my info is incorrect, in spite of that the app opens. I have to search around to find my number. The issues are endless… Hard to use, very clumsy.

Worthless App

Troon should throttle whoever developed this app for them! This app is garbage and not even mobile friendly! Completely Useless App!! I’m a Troon Prive’ member. I thought that this would be the way to utilize my membership, but boy I was completely Wrong!!! Don’t waste your time!!

Can’t even sign up. Keyboard locks onscreen and cannot even get to zip code field to sign up.

Password reset functionality doesn’t work

Troon sent me a rewards email, so they have my correct email address. However, when I attempt to reset my password using that same email address, the Troon app fails to send me a password reset email. Weak.

What is it good for??

I don’t understand the purpose of this app. Simply shows the points I have available and an ad for joining the rewards plus program. My local courses do not show up at all for booking tee times, score cards, gps information, etc. I go directly through the golf course. So again…what’s the purpose of this app?? I will also be manually keeping track of my points because I have no idea if this app is tracking them properly.

Track points

Troon points are great but, there needs to be a way to track your “points” history. When they were earned and when they were used!

Cannot search “near me”

This app doesn’t seem to allow you to search for courses near your location when trying to book a tee time or searching under GPS. A glaring oversight that needs to be fixed.

Awful

What a terrible app. You have to look for courses individually rather than looking in a geographic region. You can book on the troon online site, but what’s the point of having an app? Don’t waste your time and stick with the Troon website.

Buggy

I’m glad there’s a new app but basic functionality like trying to book Troon Card tee times doesn’t work. It loads to external Troon site, but when trying to tap on the specific regional 2/4some card nothing happens. I assume the pop up window that’s supposed to open is being blocked (whether or not I have block pop ups setting on/off in Safari)

When trying to find non-Troon card holder tee times within the app for Troon North course, the results for availability does NOT match with availability of times when going directly to the Troon website! Tried this many times, it’s way off.

No confidence in using the app for booking tee times.

As this new app was being developed, we wanted to get many of the top functionalities out to the market as fast as possible, meaning Troon Card tee-times were sent back to Troon.com where we know it worked to perfection. It is our goal, in the immediate future, to add this functionality in a seamless and organic setting. Additionally, we are looking into your issue on public tee-times and will get that fixed immediately. Thank you for taking the time to send this and we appreciate you being part of the Troon family.

Limited functionality

Why launch a “Troon App” when you still have to go to the original webpage to book Troon Card tee times. Also, spell check the email “The New Tron App is Here”? Come on man! Also can’t sort your search so checking tee times through the entire list instead of sorting by country, state and city wasn’t available. Only alphabetically. Nice try, maybe time for a mulligan!

POOR APP

This is the worst app I have downloaded. I am a Troon member and downloaded the app after seeing in the last email from Troon that it was updated. I have forgotten my password and when I ask for a reset to be sent to my email, the app just shuts down! I then just tried to send feedback via the App Store and the feedback form assumes that I am resident in the US so I cannot send the form because my phone number does not conform.

Come on, people, there is actually a world outside the US! You need to make yourselves inclusive. I have played many times at Troon courses but not once in the US. And fix your stupid app once and for ALL!!!!

Great Do It All Golf App

Really cool new app that you can tell is just in the beginning phase of being an awesome place to visit for the golf lover. I enjoy the features that are newer like GPS on the driving range!!! First I have ever seen that. Add that with my new Troon Rewards+ membership that bumped me a status level - yeah this will be perfect for me!
