Major Improvement
My troop has been using a website for years, I’m not even sure how good this app is yet, but just by merit of how much better it is than that website, I’m giving it five starts
Simply Incredible!
Troop Campfire is an incredible tool for our Scouting organization!
My favorite feature is the automatic syncing with Scoutbook. Couldn't have been easier to set up our whole troop. Merit badges, awards, and membership information update without the hassle of importing or exporting CSV files. Both the mobile app and website are clean, intuitive, and extremely easy to navigate. Scouts, parents, and leaders can quickly track progress in ranks and merit badges.
The entire platform has a appealing appearance. The calendar is easy to use and well designed. Easily syncs with a troop google calendar or you own personal calendar. There is built-in group messaging and email features that eliminate the need for a separate communication app.
Scout accounts are grouped by family so families can see their total balance at a glance. No more adding individual account balances together or juggling funds between accounts! Individual scout transactions are still visible in the family account. The financial tools are also very treasurer-friendly. Transactions are easy to input and has abilities like automatic transactions for events such as campouts.
Most of all, the customer service has been outstanding! Every question I have asked has been answered within a day and my suggestions for future features have always been welcomed. There seems to be improvements all the time.

Everything In One Place
Campfire has been a big help for our troop. It has mostly replaced multiple services we previously used (calendar, photo sharing, sign up). Since the app enforces safe scouting practices it has also created the opportunity for younger scouts to take more responsibility for their partition by RSVPing for events and communicating with leaders. The developer has also been super helpful when we have questions.

Best scout coordination platform
This is the most comprehensive scout coordination app I’ve found. Addresses all the major pain points: communication, scheduling/calendar, photo sharing, advancement/Scoutbook, finances and more. Mobile apps and web compatibility! The developer is responsive and active. I bought the premium subscription. I’m starting with my Den, then will roll out to the pack.
