Good article on fishing Shetlands

I first came across Trout and Salmon in a good article on Fishing, and camping on Fetlar. I tried all the lochs including Winyadepla, very shallow, but Tresta was a joy.

A very useful magazine to follow.

App Crashing

Up until the App started crashing when reading the magazine I was enjoying it but now you are into a feature and “CRASH” The App needs an update ASAP
However when it works its great!

Not convinced this latest version is any better than previous ones. Restore not immediately obvious.

This latest issue is annoying because of the ads and also the badges have stopped working correctly; it shows ‘1’ when all issues have been downloaded and read.

It’s become tired and a bit dull - needs a rethink - it could be so much more

I’ve been reading T&S for a long time and generally always enjoy it, especially pieces by John Beer, who is clearly the stand-out writer. More humorous travelogue type pieces like his would be great as opposed to merely just about fishing, which can be quite dull. Perhaps having guest writers such as Jeremy Paxman, Paul Whitehouse etc might liven things up a bit. Also, some pieces on the excellent conservation work of clubs and related organisations. This would be an excellent way of promoting and celebrating game fishing and its environmental and conservation interests and work. Lastly, the editor needs to cheer up and stop moaning! His letter from the editor is often very negative and puts you in a poor frame of mind at the very start. Needs to focus on the good as well as bad and be more glass-half-full! I’ve cancelled my subscription for now. Adrian Neilson

Good luck if you try to access this digital mag. totally useless and does not work on an iPad , can view on phone but loads v.slowly.

Been reading the trout & salmon since 1972 when I caught my first salmon , still enjoy it as much today .

As good as it was ?

I’ve always loved Trout & Salmon. I quite liked Trout Fisherman too. I thought the merge would be perfect. It feels however, that since the merge there is less content than before. I maybe wrong ? Still look forward to the new mag each month though.

Don’t appreciate being ripped off.

Trout Mag cancelled, told to transfer to this, won’t transfer and they don’t respond to anything.
Money taken, no magazine, no thank you.

Same stuff for current month repeated from older months with the same group of celebrities still contributing. I abandoned it after a few years. Mainly an advertising magazine.Do not order the digital edition as it is a nightmare.

Seems to be broken

Won't download the feb issue, deleted and re-installed, and now won't restore purchases on my other issues either, great magazine ruined by frustration, fix it please

Good content, not available offline.

Good content and does load much quicker. However you need a internet connection to view, not good out here in the sticks.

Truly Awful

This app still has the same issues it did a couple of years ago. Doesn't update with new issues and alerts properly. Issues fail to download EVERY time, often gets to 80 or 90% then stops, won't resume. Delete issue start again and same thing. Often have to delete the app and download all my issues again just to get the new one. This should have been fixed by a long time ago, none of my other magazines have these problems. Good magazine if you can read it so stick to the paper copy! Edit: Another month on and same again, try downloading numerous times with failures,delete, download all again. Gave up and cancelled subscription...again. Won't be back this time.
