About

Most app blockers still answer to the person trying to bypass them. At 1 a.m., that can be a hard argument to win alone. Truce adds one person you trust—without turning accountability into surveillance. CALL A TRUCE Choose the apps or websites that get in your way on your own iPhone. Your partner, friend, or sibling chooses theirs on theirs. You share a lock schedule and a promise, not app lists. BREAK IT, THEY CAN SEE IT A break is added to your private shared accountability record. Your person sees it after iCloud syncs. If notifications are enabled, Truce also alerts them; delivery depends on network and system conditions. RESOLVE — BUILT FOR SOLO MOMENTS Choose in advance what happens when you ask to unlock: open now, cool off for 20 or 60 minutes, or stay sealed until the lock window ends. Resolve works solo and is included free. HALL PASSES, NOT LOOPHOLES Need 15 minutes? Request a hall pass. Your partner can approve it, and Truce re-locks when the pass ends. STRICT MODE (PRO) Choose a rule where a break request requires your partner’s approval. Requests and decisions sync through iCloud. A CLEAN SLATE After its 15-minute opening, Truce re-arms and helps you restart without a shame spiral. PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE Blocking runs on your iPhone with Apple’s Screen Time system. App and website selections stay on that device as opaque system tokens. Your partner can see shared accountability events—kept/broken status, pass and approval activity, schedule changes, Mend, and dissolve—but never app names, usage, or content. Pairing uses a private invite link that only you and your partner hold. MEND — MERCY, WITH RULES Once per 30 days and within 48 hours of a break, your witness can restore your streak days. Mend does not delete the break entry. ONE PRO COVERS BOTH When either member has Pro, the paired partner gets Pro too while the pair remains active. StoreKit shows current local pricing, billing periods, and any available introductory offer before purchase. FREE INCLUDES • One truce and full Resolve • Preset schedules • Five explicit app or website picks PRO ADDS • Whole-category blocking and additional picks • Custom schedules • Strict Mode The maximum-strength preset locks for 23 hours 45 minutes and includes a 15-minute daily exit. Solo use needs no Truce sign-in; pairing requires iCloud and a private invite link. Either person can dissolve the truce at any time, and Screen Time access can always be revoked in iOS Settings. Willpower has hard moments. A witness can help. Terms of Use (EULA): https://novarynix.com/Truce/terms/ Privacy Policy: https://novarynix.com/Truce/privacy/
