Signposts & Road Shields During navigation, a new banner shows road shields, exit numbers, and signpost destinations for the upcoming maneuver — just like the signs on the road. Instructions are now shorter and easier to read at a glance, and the signpost also appears on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Traffic Delays Traffic jams on your route now show how much time they will actually cost you. Roundabout Guidance The maneuver arrow now guides you through the entire roundabout to the correct exit, and updates the moment you leave it. Smoother Driving Animation The driving indicator glides smoothly along your route, even when the GPS signal is unsteady. Instructions stay in sync with your position, including on routes that cross themselves. Improvements & Fixes • Follow-up maneuver preview stays visible during the whole approach instead of appearing at the last second • Clearer, localized messages when a route cannot be calculated — including hints about vehicle dimensions and restrictions — with the retry button staying available • Fixed the map not panning, and briefly stuttering, on the first swipe during navigation • Various bug fixes and stability improvements
