Keep the receipt, not just the number. Shoot a fuel or repair receipt and the photo stays with the entry. Tap it to open it full screen, zoom in, send it or print it. The paper fades and gets lost; this does not. Each photo is trimmed down to a few hundred kilobytes, so a year of receipts costs you megabytes, not gigabytes. Receipts read properly now. The app knows which screen you came from, so a fuel ticket and a repair invoice are read by different rules. Gallons, price per gallon, diesel cost and DEF come off the pump receipt; the shop, the address and the work done come off the invoice. A number printed inside a part number is no longer mistaken for the total, and the total is only filled in when it is printed under a line that actually says TOTAL. Tires got their own category. Reports follow the boxes you tick. Tick Fuel and Gross and the PDF contains those and nothing else. The expense register is in there too: date, category, shop, address and amount, so when someone asks what that six hundred dollars was, you open the report and point at it. You will know when a new version is out. A quiet line at the top of the dashboard, and one tap to update. No push notifications, no account, nothing sent anywhere. Now on iPad. A layout built for the tablet: a side menu, the dashboard, your weeks, income, IFTA, documents, reports and settings all using the full screen. Same app, same account, same subscription — nothing to buy again. Scan the bill of lading. Open a load, tap Scan BOL and shoot the pages one after another — they come out as a single PDF, not a pile of photos. Drag the corners if something extra got in; the magnifier sits in the corner of the screen, not under your finger. The signed page goes to the broker as one file. Miles are counted only while the truck is rolling. Like a logbook: no speed, no miles. GPS drift on an overnight stop used to creep into the odometer and into the state mileage. Now it does not. One odometer on every device. Set it once and your phone and tablet show the same number, taken from the same daily records the fuel tax is built on. Week gross counts everything you earned. Detention, TONU, layover, stop pay, redirect and driver assist go into the week's gross, and the dispatch and factoring percentages come off the full amount, the way the contract reads. Your first week opens everything, including IFTA. Addresses keep the street. My route shows the leg you are driving — empty to the pickup, then loaded to the delivery. Records can be deleted on the tablet with a swipe. New artwork for every settings section.
