FAQ

What is Truco Venezolano?

Truco Venezolano is a multiplayer card game played with a 40-card Spanish deck. The objective is to be the first to reach a set number of points by winning hands and rounds. Special calls like 'cantos', 'toques', and 'gritos' add strategic depth and alter scoring.

How do you win a round in Truco Venezolano?

Each player receives three cards, and a 'Vira' card is revealed. The player with the highest card wins the hand, and the best of three hands wins the round. Points are scored based on agreed-upon 'cantos', 'toques', and 'gritos'.

What are the special calls in Truco Venezolano?

The game features various special calls that affect scoring. These include 'cantos' like 'Flor' and 'Contraflor al Resto', 'toques' such as 'Envido' and 'Falta Envido', and 'gritos' like 'Truco' and 'Vale 9'. The value of these calls depends on whether the opposing player or team agrees.

Is this app compatible with my device?

The application is designed to be played on mobile phones and tablets, allowing you to play anywhere with your friends.

How does the scoring system work?

Scoring is dynamic and depends on the 'cantos', 'toques', and 'gritos' agreed upon by players. These calls have different point values, and the player or team that wins the round scores those points. Card values also vary for different game mechanics like 'flor' and 'envido'.
