Great game when putting kids to bed
Really enjoy the game - shame it does not have a linked 2 player as would love to play against my friends

So much fun. Hoping for more features in the future. Like tournaments, leagues, tie breakers, more dynamic rankings, etc. the ranking kinda game kinda stalls out without these but it’s still fun to play.

I left the review at the end of this when the game first came out. It was great but had some room for improvement. Since leaving that review, the dev has worked tirelessly on improving it and updating it. It is now, by far, one of the best curling simulators I have ever played (and on ipad no less). They have updated it at least a dozen times and it just keeps getting better and better. If you love curling, give this app a try!

This game is fantastic! The visuals are great, the sound effects are spot on, and the physics are the best I’ve seen.
The only reason it didn’t get a 5/5 from me is that there is still definitely some room for improvement. For example, in my experience playing it, it did not enforce the no-tick rule (which I believe is the WCF standard at this point). I also wish that there was a better way to control the weight. I’m playing on a sizeable iPad, and still only a couple millimetres difference on the weight bar can be six to eight feet in the difference.
The AI strategy could also use some work, but that’s the complaint with every curling game, so I won’t hold that against them.

Thanks for the review and constructive feedback. The next version, which should be out in a couple days, has finer weight control in the draw range where it matters, AI improvements, and will introduce bot ratings and a ranking ladder. I built the AI to learn by playing against itself, and have it playing 24/7, so it should get better with each new version (every week or two). The no-tick rule was pretty far down my list, but I'll move it up because you asked for it. :)
Update 3.5 Does Not Work
I’ve been playing this game on my MacBook for a few months and quite enjoyed it. I’ve noticed the update applied a few days ago. The application will no longer run on my machine.

If this ever had a proper online option with tournaments, single match ups it would turn a great game into an amazing one

Great game! So much fun. Wish it was more in depth with tournaments and such..and extra ends if tied but really can’t complain too much.

Gets better and better
The gradual updates on this game are excellent and making it better and better each time. It’s really fun to play and gives you a much better understanding of the strategies needed to win.

It’s a fun game I love it but when I can’t play against the bots I just delete the game and reinstall it so you guys should make it free it would be a lot better for me I play a lot

Just found this. I have the original Granite on CD but haven’t been able to play it in years. I’ve been trying to find something that was even close to it for some time to no avail. Granite 3 is great and lives up to the original. Amazing work!
Frustrating inaccuracy
The game includes a kind of ‘forced inaccuracy’ where some shots will randomly alter the power and direction away from what you chose. Through no fault of your own, it just seems to be random. This makes it impossible to play because your shots keep messing up. I hope they remove this feature.

Great game, really enjoying playing this, we have been needing a game like this since the Granite PC days. Really enjoying the updates to constantly improve the app. Hopefully sometime there will be an option to play against players online, and would really love if you could change to different rinks/backdrops. Really chuffed with the game though, will done to the developers, top job!
