Trying to get on the waitlist and can’t
Seems like an interesting app, but I’m unable to join the waitlist. The link to send me there just sends me to the Niantic website to recruit me to work for them.
Cool, can’t get it to work
It’s a cool idea, and i think it could be something cool but all I can find in the app is them wanting me to work for them. Just a word of warning.

Makes me love my city
As a new Austinite, this app is great for helping me make the most of my new home. The city itself is a bit overwhelming but having this app help guide me around to try new things and find my new favorite eats, work spots and entertainment not only helps me but when I have friends and family visit too!

Honestly been looking for something like this for a while. I’m so glad it exists!! I can finally stop nagging all my friends on the side — bc this app really does it all! LOVE.

Great App for Cool Finds
I was recommended this app by a friend for discovering new restaurants around ATX, and it has been soo helpful. I would highly recommend this app to anyone new to a city or looking to discover new places.

Love the concept of this app. It’s a great take on typical social media app that helps me to find some of those hidden gems and austin classics
Great! But somewhat of a learning curve
This app is great once you get the hang of it. Definitely somewhat of a learning curve, but after a few tries I can already build my own personalized lists and discover new places around town.

Signed up for access with Niantic but they never followed through and gave me a code.
Great concept, just not the ideal demographic
Interesting concept. I simply did not have the time to invest into learning this app. This app is great for a social media influencer or someone who has an established social circle versus someone who doesn’t. I’m sure this app will definitely be popular with the 18-26 demographics. I’m probably not the idea market or demographic for this app.

Needs work
It’s just reposted tik toks and reels from foodie influencers but on a map
No ability to filter by location so you’ll get content from places hundreds of miles away that’s completely irrelevant to the idea of local discovery
Truffel is cool in general concept but needs a lot of work before I’d ever download it again
Also, if the app is called Truffel does that makes us all pigs?

Difficult to navigate. Don’t see what problem this solves
Love the beta
I think this concept is really great and I can’t wait to see where this goes! There are parts of it that I can areas that can improve but I love how the team is consistently working on it. Excited to see what features will be added on in the future
Changed My Life
This app changed my life for the better. Truffel helped me learn what it means to truly live your life. The only way to describe it is: talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never-the-same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before.
Interesting concept, poor execution
Not clear how to use this app or what the purpose is — are you sharing events that happened so people can see them after the fact? Do you just add your favorite spots? I don’t really get it.
