Great App

This is a really good app, yes you pay a subscription but it’s not expensive. It means I can keep a record of all the restaurants I visit which is my hobby

I spend way more on a night out than the subscription

Great app so impressed thank you

Not free at all

Requires a subscription. Cant believe I gave them my phone number.

Cannot sign up

I put in my cell (some thing I use for everything else) and I never receive a text notification with the code. So I can’t even sign up for an account.

Love this app

Indispensable app for NYC foodies

Paywall? No thanks!

Why did I go through the process of adding all of the restaurants I've visited only to hit a paywall on the next page? Why not get popular first and THEN offer premium features behind a paywall? This model is garbage and doesn't work.

App takes you through 90% of setup before paywall

Had I known the app wasn’t free I wouldn’t have confirmed my phone number, integrated apple pay, and all that other information

Code not being sent

There is no way to even look at the app’s features because it requires you to put in your phone number and send you a code to get started. The code never gets sent.
Looks like others are having same issue and developers are not responding. 😕

Code not sending

I’m not sure how else to report this issue, but I can’t get the app to send me a verification code.

Paywalled to use the app

Should have been a freemium model

Straightforward, clean, and easy to use

I love this! I love that there are no unnecessary things you have to do to “unlock” features. 10/10.

Love tracking restaurants and meals

Best way to keep track of restaurants to try and one’s we’ve eaten at. I’m terrible at remembering restaurant names, and this makes giving recommendations and know what to order again. Love it!

Just Give Me Ads

This cant be a social app with my friends if I have to convince them to start paying for a subscription. Why not have ads like Letterboxd and then have a paid Ad-Free version? I went through the whole setup process then deleted it when I got to the subscription page

Why would I pay you for what I don’t know.

It’s a subscription and literally doesn’t tell you until after you sign up. There’s not even a free trail.

Monthly Subscription?!

Conveniently it is not mentioned anywhere that this is a subscription-only app, and it doesn’t tell you after you’ve provided your cell phone number which isnot appreciated.

Overall it didn’t provide enough features to make it worth a monthly subscription, Google maps can do basically the same thing for free.

$$

Great idea but make it free. I would love to use this but it’s not something I would spend my money on.

No Point

You have to leave the app and go Google Maps or Yelp to see pictures of the food. So pretty useless. Even if I only used this for restaurants I found elsewhere, I’d still want to see the pictures without leaving the app so I can remember the vibe of the food/restaurant.

Best Restaurant Tracker Out There

I love love love Truffle. It helps me track the restaurants I have visited, heart and plan to visit. Would recommend it anytime to my friends!

Love

Great app! Only thing I wish is that your ratings were displayed on your profile along with the review.

The Letterbox’d of Restaurants

I’ve waited a long time for something like this.
The others are good. But this has a better, more authentic community aspect.
Map & tracking is great.
Makes me want to discover more - which is exactly what I want from an app like this.

Missing some crucial features

The big one being a rating system. I don’t care if it’s a 5 star system, 10 point system, or even 100 point scale. This should have been a feature from the app’s conception. Some sort of social feature where you see other’s reviews goes along with that. You should be able to sort these reviews by recency, popularity, and even harshness. Finally, more pictures. Other user’s photos. Photos from Google. Photos from Yelp. Facebook. Other than that, pretty solid app, but I won’t be using it further
