Markdown to Slides, but needs a couple of tweaks
This is a very easy way to make a simple slide deck. My use is for presenter notes/cue cards to myself. A Markdown slide deck is perfect choice. This app works well but there are three major flaws.
1. By default, the alignment for all slides is centered. Why? No one presents slides or reads this way. You immediately have to insert HTML style syntax to fix an issue that shouldn't exist.
2. If you use inline Markdown formatting, the text is so small as to be unreadable. For example, entering `filename.m4a` with the back ticks, is smaller than subscript. Even at full screen the font is shockingly small.
3. The "themes" for the upgrade is a generous term. You get to choose a few colors and select from a list of predetermined fonts. There is nothing about fixing the alignment and font size issue.
Don't get me wrong, this app is useful, and I bought the full version. Markdown to Slides is extremely convenient. When these issues are addressed, this app will have a lot more benefit.
I really do look forward to more development and using this tool for meetings and presentations.
