The American System for Kids
The App works well. There is no broker interface so setting up the accounts is just running through the treasury paperwork and getting approval then moving money from the bank to the Trump account via the Trump account app. In the end, you don’t need access to a broker and this structure helps fulfill Hamilton’s vision for productivity, innovation, and national banking. A big kudos to the Trump administration for bringing back Hamilton Economics and American System. God is with us 🙏🏼🦢

A Government something that works!!
So glad they partnered with Robinhood to bring us this app. This is the first government ran app/website I’ve used that actually works. Signed up in 5min. Can send a QR code or link to family members to donate and they can even use Apple Pay! They did such a great job with this. Way better than giving savings bonds like the 90s

Privacy concerns
Why does this app need my search history and other data? The privacy policy says we can email Robin Hood to opt out but also need to disable a setting in the app. That setting does not exist. 🤔 ProPublica just did a piece on how the government is using its apps to collect data on citizens.
Investing in our future
Trump accounts are flipping financial futures for the youth of the nation on its head. Instead of investing on the back end of life we are starting at the beginning, creating social equalizers that anyone can take advantage of. This type of program could replace social security by creating accounts at birth that follow citizens through retirement at a fraction of the cost of social security and unshackle people from the grip of govt with financial freedom. Employers should invest in these accounts for their employees as even small contributions will add up overtime.

Need better control
You can deposit money but have no control on when you buy the ETF if the market is down and you want to buy on the dip it will not automatically buy. sometimes it takes a day and will buy at a higher price.
Very Frustrated
My experience so far has been horrible. I cannot link my bank account due to my bank not allowing linking via my username and password for my bank account (I understand this part of the issue is due to my bank). My bank does allow linking my account by entering the routing and account number, however, there is no option to do this on the Trump account.
Next issue: I cannot link my wife’s bank account because the Trump Account is under my name and not hers, and a Trump agent confirmed I could not add my wife’s account because the Trump account isn’t in her name. I don’t have an issue with this for my child’s 529 account.
Last issue: I tried setting up recurring contributions via my debit card, and the Trump agent told me you cannot setup recurring contributions for a debit card. So, my only option to contribute is to manually make payments and set up recurring reminders in my phone calendar so I don’t forget.
All I’m trying to do is invest into my kids’ futures and it is very frustrating that it is starting out this way. I hope Trump Accounts can make these issues right, because it’s not convenient for anybody.

Trump Accounts Opportunity for grandkids
These accounts are amazing opportunities for grand parents to set up their grandkids retirement account opportunity! Right now, we have a four year window to fund up to 5k/ year per child. Imagine converting that balance to a Roth down the road, with accruing tax free gains and withdrawals. If you haven’t considered this, you’ll want to get going;)! App sucks
This is a review for the app and not the president. The app throws random errors, the process of submitting the IRS form is disconnected and support sends you to IRS to field questions. I did learn what a stock is, alphabet is next.
