About
Keep your private items organized, find personal details in photos, and take more control over what you share. Trust Guard brings an encrypted vault, on-device photo text scanning, Safari content blocking, and everyday privacy tools together in one app.
YOUR PRIVATE SPACE
Store photos, videos, documents, and notes in an encrypted vault on your device. Unlock with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode, depending on your device and settings. Browse photos and videos in a three-column grid and open them for preview. Your vault locks when the app enters the background.
FIND PRIVATE TEXT IN PHOTOS
Check accessible, locally available photos for possible personal details such as email addresses, phone numbers, and card numbers. Review results across Documents, Social, Financial, and IDs. Cover sensitive areas before exporting an edited copy, or add selected photos to your vault. Text recognition runs on your device without uploading your photos for analysis.
MORE CONTROL IN SAFARI
Use built-in rules to reduce covered ads, trackers, and pop-ups in Safari. Choose from four modules: Ads & trackers, Page cleanup, Pop-ups, and Website compatibility. Turn modules on individually or manage them together. A progress ring shows how many rule modules you have selected.
PREPARE PHOTOS FOR SHARING
Add a text watermark and adjust its size and opacity. Apply mosaic effects to selected areas, choose the pixel size, and undo edits. Use opaque covers to hide details in the photo privacy editor. Export a new JPEG without the original location metadata while keeping the source image unchanged.
PASSWORDS AND EVERYDAY TOOLS
Generate passwords with adjustable length and optional numbers and symbols. Save them in the authenticated, encrypted password manager with a name, account, and notes. Inspect a link's destination host and common URL warning signs, or read QR codes from selected images before deciding what to open.
ENCRYPTED BACKUPS
Create a password-encrypted backup of your vault and saved passwords, choose where to keep it, and restore it when needed. Importing items into the vault does not automatically delete the originals from Photos or Files.
Safari blocking requires enabling the Trust Guard content blocker in system Settings and applies only in Safari. The progress ring reflects rule selection, not a device security rating. Photo Scan results are suggestions and may miss or misidentify text; review images before sharing. Link inspection does not verify whether a website is safe.
