The name says it all
TrustDots makes it super easy to check what you’re buying just by scanning a barcode or sharing a link. I love that the scores are 100% independent and based on real public data—like recalls, safety risks, and ethics—so brands can't pay to look good. Highly recommend!
Finally, a straight answer before I buy
I downloaded TrustDots on a whim while standing in the baby aisle, and now I scan almost everything. You point the camera at a barcode and get one clear score out of 100, plus the reasoning behind it — brand track record, ingredients, real (not fake) reviews, certifications, and how transparent the supply chain is. No ads, no sponsored nudges, just evidence. The watchlist and pantry tracking are a nice bonus for repeat buys, and it still works when the store Wi-Fi doesn't. It's made me second-guess a few "clean" labels and feel a lot better about the stuff I keep buying. Highly recommend.

As a parent this matters more than ever.
When we buy things for my child, it’s so important to make sure the brand doesn’t have any could cause an issue later on. From diapers to formula I want to know the parent company is staying true to what they say and not hiding behind some FDA approval stamp. Thanks for giving our family more peace at night.

Best app for conscious buying
I love how this app allows you to align your values with brands, products, companies. You literally can see labor & environmental practices, political affiliations, recalls, lawsuits, and regulatory violations. It’s crazy how it is all distilled in a digestible score.
My favorite feature has to be the ability to share any product from my Amazon app into TrustDots using the share feature. You instantly see a score without leaving the retailer app. That was a stroke of genius.

Shopping Smarter With Each Scan
I love that I can scan a barcode or type in a product or company name and quickly get more information before buying. My favorite feature is being able to search for a product from any major retailer, share it to TrustDots, and get an instant score.
It’s been really eye-opening to see things I never knew about brands I use regularly. Now I’m seeing who really owns the companies I thought were independent 🤯 It helps me make more conscious choices about where I spend my money.
Now I’m just out here scanning everything I see 🤣
