Great game but too many ads
Please, please add an IAP to remove forced ads. This is a great game and don’t mind ads for rewards but the forced ads are killing me. Would happily pay to remove them.
Almost perfect
Would have been a 5 star if red still had it’s bullet shield at max rank. Seriously that’s the big reason why you would use red so enemies ramming into you don’t kill you. Blue is wide sweeping, green is super accurate, and red is a balance of the two.
Outstanding
I thought I wrote a review for this game earlier but I don’t see it so gotta write another! Simply one of the best late-80’s scrolling shooters ever, and Mobrix has done an excellent job bringing back the awesome fun, beautiful backdrop and excellent soundtrack. The replay value is out of this world, and even though I think I’m pretty good at scrolling shooters, after 2+ years I still haven’t beaten the game on easy setting without extending in full power multiple times right at the end. It is 2023 and I look forward to finding the time that I can just dedicate an hour to playing three attempts to beat the game; it is that hard and that much fun. Well done, Mobrix, your game is on all of my Apple devices!

I loved this kind of game on real arcade machines and the phone version is great fun too.

Amazing to play this arcade game on the iPhone. Kudos to the developers who managed to tweak parts of the ROM to have a customised version like this.
The only niggle is the bomb 'button' isn't as responsive as you need in a tight situation, but given you can maneuver your ship faster than in the arcade version, and auto fire is on, this generally is not a problem.

Excellent Remake!
So much nostalgia of childhood playing Truxton on the Sega Megadrive (So many wasted hours). It would be perfect on an iPad and ideally with a controller, playing on the phone using fingers is difficult because your fingers block your view.

Searched for this game for many years, just craving for my days on Shea mega drive. It has not disappointed just wish I had the same reflexes as I did back then.
