Great game but I’m stuck

I am on chapter 2 but can’t find the blue Kunai! Love this game though, and the hints are good but can’t open the chest.

Nice game

I enjoyed the gameplay and story! The only puzzle that threw me off was the hand sign puzzle in the last chapter. Even after looking up the solution I didn’t understand it. The game was overall fun though! I’d recommend it to anybody who likes escape games. And the story has some nice humor to it as well!

Great historic-setting escape

Combines the ease of point-and-click, the problem-solving trickiness of classic games, and carefully researched aesthetics. Three levels of challenging puzzles, with a connecting story that’s optional. Great experience: I meant to try out one level and couldn’t put it down.

Hint and walkthrough system do well at explaining without giving too much away.

Wonderful

Has more of an old school escape game feel. Very interesting story, great graphics, smooth gameplay. I found it to be both entertaining and relaxing. Would love to see more from developers.

Authentic

Very Enjoyable challenge. Helps to know a little of Japanese culture. Hope to see more escape game puzzles.

Response from developer

Thank you for playing. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Japan at that time was quite different from Japan today, and it was hard work, but I had fun making it. I'm looking forward to making a new game again, so let's meet again.

Hooray!!

Now I can understand it!!
Thank you!!

This was a terrific game even before the English translation. Excellent graphics, attention to detail, and superb puzzles.

Response from developer

I wasn't sure if I could get the words across, but I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for playing!

Makes me wish I understood Japanese

It’s definitely playable but would be easier if I understood the language. I feel like I’m missing a lot of historical details as well as clues. I very much appreciate factory.112 for releasing it in the US.

Response from developer

Thank you for playing! A lot of the things in this game require an explanation of what they are, even for people living in Japan. I think it was very difficult to play this game without knowing the language. Hopefully we'll be releasing a translated version of the game someday...
