Хорошая читалка, но жалею, что обновила. Теперь при закрытии одной книги, чтобы выбрать другую приходится долго ждать, пока не закончится реклама про версии приложения
Good but needs improvements
Thank you, very good app but the feature of controlling the audio with your headphones doesn’t work. I try to stop/play with my headphones when outside yet the audiobook doesn’t stop or doesn’t start when it stops which is annoying. I don’t want to take out the iPhone every time I want to hit the play button

No unnecessary charges or time limitation with basic features
The basic voices that they give you that are multilingual sound perfectly fine and they don’t charge you for how long you listen nor do they charge you for a decent voice. my personal favorite voice is Brian.
Great voice
Okay love the voices option but here is a few drawback.
1. Ultra voice sometimes don’t load, this happened for both long and short paragraph.
2. i was very exciting for download features but seem like i have to listen to whole chapter to download that chapter, which is unconvenient. If this could be fixed, that would be better.

Best voices!!.
Draw backs are
1. (FIXED!) I have to leave screen of my phone turned on for it to continue reading on page turn. I also do not think that I could play it in the background and get page turns even with the screen on, and it not be in the front.
2. It would be very nice if I could download the ultra premium voice that I liked best and use it off-line.
3. This may be a need to be online problem too, but I found that there are times when it will simply stop working and say it’s a network or server problem.
4. Also it would be great if the pitch of the voice could be changed with a slider like you have for playback speed.
5. Also does not use Wi-Fi. I tested it with great Wi-Fi connection and turned off cellular data and it stopped with a sign that cellular data is turned off. I can’t emphasize enough that I had a great Wi-Fi connection at the time.
6. I would’ve been happy to go on your website to give you these tips, But the website requires a password, which is not required to get into the app so therefore I could not get on the website to make suggestions and it did not recognize my email address.
Update:
It is working much better for my PDF files and I love the fact that I can read my Kindle books through it. There does not seem to be away from my husband to become a pro user in the app so that he can access his Kindle books, but I was able to do that because I became a pro user.
The option to become a pro user should be inside the app somewhere, but I cannot find it inside his app.

Excellent and clear reading voice
Suitable for Multilingual Content
I read a lot of scholarly literature and it’s often just flat out not brought to audiobook format. It seems audiobooks are geared toward more surface level and pop-culture or easily digestible topics, not social theory and political critiques. This app is a great way to get the convenience of an audiobook for any ebooks and PDFs you already own without having to pay ridiculous hidden fees.
Be aware that the software is only a reader and does not have the evaluatory ability to know it should skip footnotes & in text citations or pause after the beginning of a new chapter. For me, it’s not a deal-breaker and is still light years better than being forced to sit down and be still for hours on end while I scroll a pdf and can’t multitask. The voice I picked, Emma (multilingual) is great at reading romanized Slavic words, so pronunciation doesn’t distort them to the point of illegibility.

Love this app, hate that it crashes and pauses audio constantly
My favorite free reader app but hate that it constantly pauses and crashes. Currently it won’t play anything at all. Hoping that will change but going to have to look for a new app in the meantime
Sucks
Sucks. Doesn’t pronounce words correctly stops reading after every single paragraph and you have to push play. In the middle of the story, it all starts speaking it in a different language. There’s an update like every day.

I genuinely love it sm for what I get for free and the unlimited listening its sooo good. U can insert any amount of words and it’s so peak and offline as well!! Sometimes can lag esp if u put too long or have too many books on if your free but its so good and very little lag

Pricy but good at what it does.
Stops working
I used the other app (audiobook-ai, same developer) for almost a week and stared having problems with the books stopping on their own or the app closing. So I switched to this one, paid for the week. It’s been less than 24 hours and I’m having the same problems. I updated the app, but it didn’t change. It’ll read a couple sentences then just stops.
I also dislike how you have to keep the app open on your screen for it to play. Annoying and drains battery life.

Shady price changes / no dev support. Scammy.
Was going to buy lifetime at $47 but wanted to ask dev a question first. Messaged developer multiple times through app and emailed but they never replied. Today went back to try and buy lifetime and now it’s $85. Yesterday it was 78. Constantly changing prices with no dev replies is terrible business practice. Plus the app seems like it might be using a hack to “provide” Microsoft azure voices that might get patched at any time. Be wary of this one.

Hey can you add background playback mode? i want to keep listening to Spotify or scroll through tiktok when playing audiobooks. love your app anyways.
Nice but…
You can’t even download the kindle book in premium version and that’s very disappointing to me. Don’t make it shareable cause of copyright but at least let us download the books we own! I wanted to listen on a road trip and couldn’t😞

Love this. This app and the eleven reader are the best of the best. The only issue I have had with it is I will be listening to a book and I’ll stop it and choose a different book. All of a sudden, usually after a page turn, the first book I was listening to will start playing from the beginning interrupting the book (I was currently listening to) This is a problem on two fronts because 1.it interrupts the second book. And 2. It actually causes me to lose my place in the first book unless I made a manual bookmark. This is rather rare but it’s happened a few times. Otherwise this app is the best. Everyone should supper the dev and pay for the lifetime or at least a month!

I am time-poor PhD student that rarely gets any down-time. I listened to an academic paper with TTS Reader Voice Pro while sowing some fabric and absorbed information in a new way. Can’t wait to try this during my commute to work or during exercise! Thank you for making it free. Hopefully with enough users, you can eventually monetise :) I’d pay $1-10 AUD one-off (still need to test out offline features) and so far no ads which is great!
