It still need a lot of work
On iPad it’s completely bugged. The only available resolution is 360p. If I click the icon to pop out the video, it disappears. Subtitles sometimes don't work, but that happens even on iPhone. The graphic of the shorts is always low resolution. Also, on YouTube I often copy the video link so I can paste it into Gemini and ask questions. Here that's not possible. There are no links to share or copy. In short, there's still a lot of work to be done; if this is the price for not having ads, I might as well have them until an app that actually works is released.

Slight issues
It’s a great app in my opinion but I’ve encountered a few things that are small in my opinion but a little annoying.
Whenever I’m watching something, sometimes the video disappears when I do click the small window view/minimize (the video will disappear, making me click on the video again, refresh it and click the minimize bottom again.
Secondly, at some points two videos would play at once if I was listening to the video beforehand and click the next one. It’s a bit odd and it doesn’t stop until I close out of the whole app and reopen it.
Another thing, when I pause the video I’m watching it unpauses for some reason.
Still even with these small issues I enjoy the app better than YouTube since there is no ads.

When it works it works
I’m grateful for being able to watch ad free but since I started using this app I’ll notice one or a few issues that get fixed but within the same update you get new problems.
This app is FANTASTIC!!!
Watching videos without those annoying ads is extremely refreshing!! God bless this app!

Only advantage is ad free
After using this app for an year, i can freely say that this is the most buggy, glitchy, slow application on phone i've ever used, user interface always does something unexpected and strange things, components flies away, buttons can barely be pressed, sudden sound disappearances, slow video loading, and many many more that i can't describe, if i'd only have an opportunity to share with all screenshots showing awful stuff happening everyday of usage, of course I understand that this app already shows a tonn of hard work, and it's being improved every day, and the main purpose of it to deliver paid functions for free, but i started to think of purchasing subscription for official youtube for 20 bucks just to end this suffering

Goated. I don’t leave reviews often, but whoever is reading this needs to know that this app is the real deal. Blessings to the developers I hope they live in abundance with many riches and women🙏🏾

I appreciate the lack of ads, especially with YT ads skyrocketing lately. YouTube has become unusable. I also really like the background play but not during a phone call. Which happens all the time. The app is also EXTREMELY slow, unresponsive, laggy, and filled with UI and functionality bugs. If you remedy these important issues, I’d be happy to subscribe. Thank you.

Absolutely best app ever
I watch and listen to YouTube videos constantly and this app fixes everything! No ads, can minimize, can play in the back ground, can play with screen off! I'm going to find a way to donate to these people. This fixes so many issues I had with youtube. Thank you thank you thank you
Usually a Great App, Sometimes Buggy
This app has served me pretty well for a while. The UI is a little bit finicky and glitchy but I much prefer that over the insane amount of ads on regular YouTube. However, I just encountered a bug that has massively decreased my ability to use and enjoy the app. The home/back button, which can normally be moved by the user, is partially off-screen and no longer functional. As a result, I can no longer exit out of YouTube Shorts if I begin watching one, and I can also no longer navigate back to view videos/channels from a previous page. Any advice on how to fix?

Good but buggy
It is a good adblocker for Youtube, but it has a few bugs, mainly related to pausing videos. When in PIP, resuming a paused video will play the audio, but the video remains paused. When resuming in regular mode, it often stops the video and starts playing the first short from the front page.
Seems to be getting worse ):
This is a great app that I use very regularly but in recent weeks it seems to be functioning worse and worse. Videos not loading, constant glitching, This is probably the most useful app I have and I’d hate to have to stop using it.
Phone Overheats Overnight After Recent Updates
I’ve used this app regularly for a long time, but recently I’ve noticed a serious issue. On several occasions I’ve left my phone untouched overnight in the exact same place as always, only to wake up and find it extremely hot.
I haven’t changed any settings, I’ve simply kept the app updated with each new release. Something clearly isn’t working as it should. Apart from being concerning, I’m worried about the long-term impact on my iPhone’s battery health.
Please investigate this, as it wasn’t happening before the recent updates.

For example, I might start it around 12am and wake up at 6am to find my phone unusually warm or even hot, despite it having been left untouched for hours. That level of heat simply shouldn’t happen.

Great App
I love the app—it’s almost perfect. Allow me to offer a small criticism: When you select a video, it’s a real hassle to close the window after watching it. I try dragging it while holding my finger down, and sometimes I manage to minimize it into a banner at the bottom—phew—but then I have to close it using the X. Unfortunately, that doesn’t always work. Then I close the app and restart it. If there were a solution to this, I’d give it 6 stars.

Ich finde keine Worte dafür wie gierig YouTube mit deren Werbung geworden ist, aber dafür umso bessere für Tube PiP. Hatte schon vergessen wie sich Musik anhören anhört weil man in YouTube nurnoch mit Werbung totgeschlagen wurde. Hier keine Werbung und Hintergrund Musik, mehr braucht man nicht. Außer der YouTube CEO, der braucht noch die 70. Yacht.
