Connecting a niche group
I’m very grateful this app exists. The reformed community is comparatively small, and it’s nice to be able to meet folks. People are fairly spread out, but the administrators help offer many ways to get people connected, like regular group video chats and resources for men and women on singleness, marriage, and the steps in between.

Good for Calvinistic/Reformed Christians
In my experience finding like minded believers is difficult on secular dating apps or even broadly Christian apps. Apps like Tulip Singles help a lot! You can expect most of the people to be fairly decent folks since they have a very strict screening process. While the downside also is that this means the app might not be as flexible and convenient as others with this screening and writing detailed testimonies/Q&A. But overall it’s worth the hassle since it has some pretty cool, Calvinistic believers from around the world.

Not user friendly
I haven’t even begun to use the app and I am more than frustrated with it. I tried doing the verification multiple times in the app but it doesn’t work. I even reread the instructions and the in-app verification just doesn’t work. And so I just left it for a bit because I don’t spend a whole lot of time on my computer and I came back into the app and they wrote in my bio to verify via photo??? Send me an email for pity sake, don’t write in my bio for me to maybe, possibly, a slim chance for me to see that message in the required time. It’s the silliest way to get someone’s attention I’ve ever seen. Give a notification, send an email, approaching users like that for verification is just…unprofessional. Eventually I finally was just fed up and did go onto my computer but I don’t even know if the photo I uploaded was the proper one because once it uploaded there was no file name to say “this is what file you’ve uploaded”. It simply said that it received the photo and that’s it. If I recall correctly, it was purely on PC for a while, but if you’re gonna make an app at least finish it before release because it very much does scream “unfinished, rushed app”. It’s extremely clunky and after an extensive q&a about beliefs the least you can do is make the photo verification process a little bit easier to accomplish. I haven’t even gotten to use the app yet and yet the UI is already insufferable.

Very Exclusive!
I don’t have prior experience with dating apps, but this felt much more involved than I was expecting. There’s a whole application process that has to be manually approved. It felt like applying for a job, which was more than I anticipated. Ultimately, I was told that I was disapproved because in my bio I said I “wouldn’t necessarily call myself a cessationist” and affirmed what some have taken to calling “cessationist-lite”, that perhaps The Holy Spirit does still give gifts in exceptional circumstances but that the charismatic gifts are unbiblical.
I don’t want to give a negative review because I’m sure it would’ve been a fine experience if I had gotten a chance to use the app, and I do believe in the cause of a site for reformed folks to meet, but I do feel like potential users should beware that if you disagree with perhaps even less definitional points of reformed theology then you might not be able to use the app. Like, at all.
If I could give feedback to the developers I would personally think that, while it’s fine to have the vetting process be so involved for something as specific as this, maybe lax up a bit on the amount of theological unanimity you require of users to even get in the door in the future. Like, can’t users themselves split hairs between hardline cessationism and like middle-road cessationism? Perhaps I’m underestimating how important that distinction is, or perhaps there was a combination of reasons I was really disapproved

Just started using TULIP
So, I just started using TULIP as a dating app and I haven’t had any problems so far. The owners/staff members are very genuine and I can tell they are doing their best to make sure all of the members are authentic and genuine in their intent to pursue a relationship leading to marriage. I’ve never come across a site that is as intentional as this one. I, of course wish there were more options for me as I live in Long Island, NY and I’m pretty adamant on finding a spouse nearby to me. However, that isn’t any fault of the TULIP team. I do believe people will find a spouse on this site and my hope is that more single Reformed men from Long Island will use this site as a tool/avenue to find a spouse, so that I can have more potentials :)

What a great app!
While there are multiple Reformed Christian dating sites, there is currently only one Reformed Christian dating app—TULIP Singles! Since joining, I have greatly appreciated the ease and user-friendliness of their app. (Although, if I’m honest, I hope to not need it for too much longer.) Their price after the free trial is much more reasonable than other options, and they occasionally offer deals and/or free content to their non-paying members, in addition to regular activities for their paying members. Creating a profile is easy, does not require too much of your time, and provides answers at a glance to many questions a potential spouse might ask. Their support staff appears to be responsive and working hard to keep things updated and running smoothly and safely, and the interactions I’ve had have been nice!

I highly recommend this blessing of an app.
By the grace of God, I met the love of my life on this app! There are many wonderful people on the app! The creators of this app are constantly updating and improving the quality of the app. Tulip Singles has a variety of features and events such as: zoom meet and greets, blind dates and speed dating. It’s definitely a place to meet believers who are reformed. I highly recommend this app for any Christian who is single and looking for a spouse by the Grace of God.

Some of the things I love about tulip singles is how
they monitor who gets on and who we connect with on there. With other apps, it’s not easy to know who’s authentic and who’s not. I absolutely love this app. It's wonderful there is a dating app made just for reformed singles! It's easy to use and has some great features. I would definitely recommend to any friend looking for a dating site that is truly legit!

A Christ centered app.
I really enjoy using the side and feel safe and comfortable enough to continue using it. I would recommend it to any person who wants to find a cry centered wife or husband. There are many Christ centered dating sites and apps out there, but I believe that this is the best.

Controlling & Pharisaical
Stay away from this site with judgmental, controlling and Pharisaical admins who can ban your account without notice. Beware the admins have ZERO tolerance for members making mistakes. You might be better off signing up for other "Christian" dating sites that will not ban your account simply over a profile picture and will not let you rejoin. If they ever ban your account, please make sure you ask them to remove your profile off this site! During our discussions, I've also admitted SO MANY TIMES it was a mistake and thank you for posting a response to prove how unforgiving the admins are. The owner Jason Malroy asked me to submit another one of my photos and I did. However, you guys never offered a chance to fix the mistake nor Jason Malroy ever used the photo I submitted to him to fix the issue! But instead, you guys judged a person's character based on a profile picture?! How "Christian" is this site when you as a "Christian" should know that you should not ever judge anyone by OUTWARD appearances especially when I've admitted SO MANY TIMES it was a mistake! Moreover, please don't make me look like I'm the guilty one here because it was IMPOSSIBLE for me to change my profile picture because you guys never gave me a chance to do so and you guys banned my account! Additionally, it's PHARISAICAL to say that I was rude and obnoxious when your PHARISAICAL, JUDGMENTAL, HYPOCRITICAL and UNFORGIVING "Christian" behavior was also obnoxious! Not only that, I think it's better to inform people my experience. Not only you BANNED my account because of my profile picture even after I've ADMITTED I made a mistake SO MANY TIMES, you've also stated that I'm not permitted to rejoin your site ever again all because of the profile picture!
