What's New in Tulpar

1.4.0

October 26, 2026

Tulpar 1.4.0 is made for iPhone Duo. Unfold it and your whole flight fits on one screen. - Unfolded, the flight board sits beside the map: route, time left, progress, speed and altitude at a glance - Home shows your next flight and your pinned airports side by side, with the tabs down the side - Logbook, Stats, Settings and Flight Setup keep a comfortable reading width on the big screen - Starting a flight no longer redraws the map - Takeoff is detected more reliably when GPS through the window is weak, so the plane leaves the airport soon after you take off - Pacific flights are drawn the short way across the date line - The Home Screen widget no longer shows LIVE after Tulpar has stopped tracking - Fixed: on short screens the map buttons could cover the top of the board

Does not track in real time status

Paid for upgrade, app doesn’t track real time status fights on map. Plane doesn’t move, shows at the starting point not actual location on map. Requested a refund because app doesn’t work as mentioned… but was rejected 😥. Don’t upgrade, rip-off 🤙

Apple declined my Refund, asking Apple for refunds are a WASTE of time 👌.

Response from developer

Thank you for the honest review, and we are sorry Tulpar left your plane sitting at the departure airport. We found the cause. Tulpar waited for a clear speed reading from GPS before deciding you had taken off, and through an airplane window that reading often never comes. Tulpar 1.4.0 is out now and also detects takeoff from your position changing and from the cabin climb. The plane should now leave the airport soon after you take off, even when the signal is weak. Two things help on your next flight: • Keep Precise Location on. Tulpar warns you if it's off. • If the plane hasn't moved after takeoff, tap "I'm airborne" on the "Still at the gate?" card, and Tulpar continues with an estimate. Refunds are handled by Apple, so I can't change that decision myself. If 1.4.0 still lets you down, email me at tulpar@gokhanefe.dev with your Support ID (Settings → About) and I'll work through it with you personally. Gokhan, Tulpar developer

Nice app

Finally there is an app which I can use in my low-coster flights to see where I am even without an internet connection, thanks for it!!
