Looks perfect. Doesn’t work! BUT DOES NOW!!! 👏

I tried this today March 1st out of interest to see if it had been updated - and it has! Thanks for the fix, I did manage to contact the developer when I wrote my original comments, who said the problem I had was due to my using the latest Apple firmware update and that they’d need to work on a fix.

Works exactly as it says - shows how accurately I hit single notes on a harmonica (not very! 😤) but that’s OK. At least when my ears tell me it’s not bad, the app shows where I am leaking air to the left or right of a single hole. So a very useful tool! 👏👍❤️

My original review:
I’ve downloaded this at least three times and checked latest version 2.1.3 but sadly it doesn’t work. The main screen opens showing the schematic of a harmonica and the note positions, but tapping the large green button ‘Start listening’ just brings up ‘Please Wait’ while the spinning wheel of hope revolves endlessly. Really disappointed as it appears to be just what I need to check that I’m hitting single notes correctly and cleanly (no air passing through adjacent holes). Since other reviewers are at least a bit positive, what’s going wrong? My iPhone is a 15ProMax running v18.1.1 no way to contact developer directly.

Really cool idea poorly executed

Doesn’t work at all. Doesn’t hear anything, and just loads indefinitely

Worked until recent iOS update

App hangs after selecting “start listening” feature. “Please wait” message with ring circling forever. Do not download or purchase if you are on iOS or iPadOS version 18 or later. Same on iPhone or iPad. App needs to be updated.

Helps learning

Great app to learn the harmonica, I found it hard to know which holes I'm blowing into especially as I move the harmonica from side to side. This will help me learn where my mouth needs to be. Looking forward to using it to practice the more advanced techniques.
Thanks for developing this.
