After a couple of years of steady listening to Pandora, I have recently been seeking out Tunein. I have particular interest in the Dave Koz show and the Mike Harvey show. Tunein makes it easier to locate these. Follow up to an earlier rating. TuneIn has the best collection of stations. Simply put

So many adverts it takes a good 5-10 minutes to get onto a station, often to find it’s not playing what you are looking for. I was able to download a better app and find the football match I was looking for while TuneIn was still

While it might be able to tune in to music, it might be able to tune in to local sports, but it cannot tune in if your team is out of town. buyer beware.

Quality Control Needed
Yesterday, I started an audiobook on TuneIn (Agatha Christie, Murder on the Orient Express). What did I get? Someone (probably an AI voice) reading the book letter by letter. That’s right, not reading words, but spelling out the letters with an occasional full word here and there. Occasionally, I’ve started an audiobook only to find that one or two of the chapters wouldn’t play. Skipping ahead to the next chapter worked fine, but of course, who wants to miss something? All of these problems are occurring in the paid version. I’ve had the paid app for over 5 years but will probably let it end when my subscription expires.

TuneIn Completely Broken in Latest App Update
Something has gone HORRIBLY WRONG with the latest update to the TuneIn app 4 days ago.
It is now playing ads constantly on an infinite loop, with no ability to actually listen to any radio content of any kind. No matter what you do (and I’ve even deleted and reinstalled the app twice now)
This is occurs both on my older iPhone and a brand new iPad (circa March 2026).
Thought users should know as this is the biggest developer eff up I’ve ever seen in a commercial app, and prevents users from even using their app on any reasonable basis.
It has basically rendered the app completely useless and unusable.
It is now playing ads constantly on an infinite loop, with no ability to actually listen to any radio content of any kind. No matter what you do (and I’ve even deleted and reinstalled the app twice now)
