About

Tunes is a practice tracker for jazz musicians who want to build a big repertoire — and keep it. Learning new standards is the fun part. The hard part is not forgetting the ones you already know. Tunes handles both. DISCOVER NEW STANDARDS Swipe through well over 2,000 jazz standards, each credited with its composers. Swipe right to add a tune to your list, left to skip it. Common jam-session tunes and rarer gems are mixed evenly, so you keep finding both. SEE WHAT NEEDS PRACTICE Every tune is sorted by how recently you played it: - Green — fresh and ready - Yellow — starting to fade - Red — time to revisit - New — added but not played yet You decide how many days it takes for a tune to turn yellow or red. Tap a tune's checkmark when you've played it, and it moves back to green. KEEP A BIG LIST UNDER CONTROL - Tags and filters — group tunes by style, gig, band, or anything you like - Sort by most recent, least recent, or A–Z - Mark tunes as Easy or Hard, so hard tunes fade faster and come back to your attention sooner - Quickly file your existing tunes into tiers with the sort feature - Autocomplete fills in title and composers as you type - Compact display sizes to see many tunes at once YOUR WAY Prefer to judge for yourself? Switch to manual mode and set each tune's color by hand instead of by date. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no ads, no tracking. Everything stays on your iPhone. Whether you're preparing for jam sessions, gigs, or just want to know more tunes by heart, Tunes helps your repertoire grow without letting old favorites slip away.
