Doesn’t work at all. Cannot connect. No error messages. No debug logs. Nothing. Just won’t connect at all. Useless.

Does not support chat logging. Loses connection if Turbo Window closes. Great App for non-serious IRC users. No spell check capabilty
Worse $2.99 I ever spent
The app slows down to the point it’s unusable. And, after downloading ONE file, it started failing getting other files, saying they are 0 bytes.

The app works well. There is a learning curve but it is not a deal breaker. Could there be improvements? Yes, but with all things maybe in time.

Great App
I’m new to IRC and tried quite a few and this app is by far the best and easiest to use, as I’m no computer geek, 100% recommend this app ! I’ve told friends and they all love it to after download
TurboIRC works well as a Stand-Alone IRC platform
Split screen in iPadOS 13 might allow to run TurboIRC and browser at same time. Update: Split Screen is disabled for this app. I need to switch to my browser regularly when using TurboIRC, but its risky because TurboIRC will loose connection sometimes. Solution: Browser is available using Reader Pane / Reader View sliding finger to left from the right edge of the screen. This solution does not cause TurboIRC to loose connection.

No SSL support and recent updates. Also, its iOS web site is broken with blank sections.
Excelled where others failed
I spent hours trying to find an IRC client on iOS that could handle DCC and had no luck until I found this. It cost 99¢ to get the file option, but well worth it. Minutes after downloading the app, I was able to receive files. UI isn't gonna win any awards but it's intuitive enough if you know what you're doing. I was able to add a server and join my desired channel effortlessly.

Stupid problems
1. Reaching the author failed. Thats why this note
2. Read excuse about timeout. So why is is fb messenger and skype can reconnect with everything intact, but you cant?
3. Why cant i set a favorite channel and group ( i just have 1 at moment. 1 or 2 more desirable on same channel)

no ssl support bad gui
this app has no ssl support and the gui is horrible.
Can't dl files anymore.
I used to be able to open files but now it's asking for extra money. No way.
Needs an update
The app does not detect the presence of an external keyboard. When an external keyboard is present, the app still leaves room for the system keyboard, which wastes a lot of screen space. If not for this problem, this would be a 4-star rating.

can join channels just fine but the app doesnt allow me to type on them, the keyboard doesnt have show, you can read, but that is it, nothing else.

Awful UI, But DCC Works
This app has one of the worst UIs I've ever seen on iOS--nothing even vaguely intuitive about it, no consistency with the OS standards, tiny little buttons that take five tries to tap, etc.
But it's the only iOS IRC client that supports DCC file transfers (or at least it was when I got it), so I'll forgive it just about anything for that.

Can't even connect
Can't connect to anything. Waste of time.
Got potential
Could be amazing but disconnect when phone goes to sleep. Surely there's a way to prevent iPhone going to sleep ? Like waze for eg keeps staying active...
