What's New in Turfpal
0.2.3
September 18, 2026
- Weather is now included with Turfpal: no integration to set up. The Weather screen says weather is included for your organisation, an administrator can choose which site's location it uses and turn included weather on or off, and someone with view-only access sees that the settings are read-only. An organisation running its own weather provider keeps it, and the screen says so. - The forecast now covers 8 days instead of 7, with 24 hours of hourly detail instead of 12. - When the weather provider is busy, the Weather screen keeps showing your last reading with the time it was taken instead of going blank. When weather cannot be shown at all, it now says why: included weather is switched off, no location is chosen, the location has no coordinates, or updates are paused until a given time. - The home-screen weather widget shows the time of the reading, clears itself once that reading ages rather than leaving old numbers on screen, and shows a placeholder for a missing value (or leaves it out) instead of showing a wrong one. - Assessments use the weather for the site you are assessing, and keep the reading you captured earlier in the same assessment. - The organisation picker and the organisation switcher have a search box whenever you belong to more than one organisation, with the list sorted alphabetically in your own language and the organisation you are in at the top. - An invitation now opens the sign-up screen for anyone who does not have a Turfpal account yet, instead of a sign-in screen with no way through. - AI chat explains your organisation's weekly AI allowance (up to USD 200 a week, set by an administrator under Settings → AI) when it is running low, has been reached, or has been switched off, in your app language and number format. Replying to an answer that has already finished now says so, retrying a follow-up that failed to send resumes the same answer rather than starting a second one, and signing out clears any chat in progress. - The passive "Data last updated …" bar no longer appears at the top of the app. The offline and failed-sync banners are unchanged. - Products can now use decilitre application rates: dl/ha, dl/m2, dl/100m2, dl/1000m2, dl/L, dl/100L, dl/m3 and dl/ac.
