THE SCORING THAT MAKES 29 UNIQUE Only four ranks carry points, and the order is unlike any other card game: • Jack = 3 points - the highest card • Nine = 2 points - the second highest • Ace = 1 point • Ten = 1 point • King, Queen, 8 and 7 = 0 points Twenty-eight points in the deck. Bid for them, then prove it. BID, THEN COMMIT Cards are dealt four at a time around the auction. Bids climb from 16 up to a maximum of 28 - the higher you go, the more you must capture.
