This is literally perplexity with absolutely no changes or modifications. It sucks
Upon downloading the app and trying to use GIPPR, the bot literally says that no such thing as GIPPR has ever existed. It says that its perplexity and it is explicitly not GIPPR. This is my first experience ever using it, and the very first answer is not only wrong but completely full of lies. It also said there were no outages or issues with Grok in April 2026… despite being widely reported.
I was hoping to use GIPPR in place of grok as the company handled outages extremely poorly in April 2026 and I do not want to use it now.

Not in the least bit conservative. I asked for the top Republican PACs and they sent me left wing sites like open society, and democrat pacs

One glitch I discovered right away, and they acknowledged when I wrote of it to them, is that it crashes when you try to call a number or send an email that might have a hot link on any site. They said they were working on it, but it still hasn’t been fixed. And that was maybe 6 months ago.
There are other bugs too. For example, when you search, and then hit back, it doesn’t always go back to your search. It often starts over from scratch. So you have to do the whole thing over again.
This app could be great. But it needs some development. Maybe they are waiting for more support. But I think they need to put that into the app. Or make it more obvious.
I’d pay for it if it worked better.

Had a lot of hope for this app. You failed.
When you hit the back button it might go back to your results. It might go back to the start page and you lose your search results. History may be there. It may be blank. If you search for a product, it isn’t private. You’ll get flooded with social media ads for the product you searched for. It appears you’re either not private or you’re selling information.

Selecting News Sources
I would like to select all news sources at one time. Also I am unable to select some sources do to the UI. Is it my imagination or am I limited to a certain number of new sources?
Good idea; poor execution
I like the concept of the app because as a conservative we need this. But the app has its problems, it’s very glitchy and it crashes often. This feels like a skeleton of a good idea but with some development it could certainly work.

Biased and full of “shirt”
This app’s AI is incredibly biased and it is non factual. When put in front of blatant contradictions it states, the answer is “your request does not comply with terms of use”. It speaks like some sort of slimy trash. If yo want facts, this is definitely NOT the place where to get them. The app is as bad as VICE, on skewed to the right instead of the left. It’s like asking Hitler instead of Stalin. Stay away from it. It’s trash.

One of a Kind Selectable News Feed App
In my experience, there are not many apps out there, if any, that let you choose your news sources, and you get your news feed all in one place especially if you want both sides. Now these features weren’t working as advertised for awhile, including updating of feeds. I absolutely love the idea that I can tune out the echo chamber of legacy media that still is abetted by alphabet to force the lies down your throat, and when I say lies I mean full-on non truth, falsehood, fallacies; and opinions of people that I have come to distrust and do not respect for the simple reason that I don’t like to listen to liars.
So, here I can select the news sources that don’t dominate the narrative, and I can get both sides, but particularly the side of truth that the Liar doesn’t want you to hear. Truth. I am aware there are equally bad sources on all sides but i am so relieved here is a place I can get the news they don’t want you to hear. I can deduce the truth, as can many people, with a healthy blend of all viewpoints.
Thank you sirs for fixing the issues of not saving preferences and of not updating the feed on a regular, polling the sources as soon as I open the app. Love it thank you! Finally !

Horribly Ineffective And Useless
Your browser app constantly goes blank on its own. There’s no ability to long depress to open a new tab which is standard in every browser and browser app. This browser app is useless.
I had it before and it worked great but Now not so
I had previously used Tusk as my web browser and it worked great!
And this was just in the last year(2024)
So now on July 4,2024, I add it and it will NOT get past the first webpage instructions of going into Safari and changing it to Tusk . I did that and that page will not disappear so I can use it .

On day one
The Home Screen and web browser are too confusing!!! When you have several tabs open the app doesn’t know what to do, it’s confused and literally no way of switching between any opened tabs. By pressing the back button to return to the previous web page, this goes through the tabs that are opened, and if you close that tab, it actually closes a different tab. It’s really weird and funky… AI is a bit wacky on this platform. But the issue makes this app useless unless I’m only checking the weather, so useless. This app is not even a good attempt at a web browser! You need the basics to start and they’ve failed miserably.
