More than just homework help—Tutori! helps support learning and confidence
The pandemic has forced the change of many things I’d taken for granted, like my kids going to school and getting help from their teachers when they needed it. Virtual instruction hasn’t made it any easier for my son to learn math and I wasn’t able to help him much, as in, not at all. We had a great tutor we used for my older daughter, but wasn’t sure how tutoring would work with all the uncertainties of Covid. It seemed time-consuming and inefficient to hold up the review packet to the phonescreen so the tutor could help identify where and what kind of help was needed. Something was getting lost in translation by not being able to work side-by-side. Tutori! brought a remarkable change to their tutoring sessions. Based on what I hear from the other room, it’s a much more interactive experience, with both sides asking questions and offering explanations, and more material is able to be covered in a much more thorough way. Tutori! has made it easy to extend the support from my son’s tutor to help my son feel more confident, prepared, and supported in his schoolwork—a huge gamechanger in these challenging times.

Smooth, easy, flexible
The app creates a remarkable interactivity between tutor and student. Because students and I can set up a video chat and share any number of document fields - worksheets, graph paper, free wheeling white space - on the app, we are virtually next to each other.
More improvements are in the works: folders for multiple documents, lined paper, etc. so the tool is clearly going to expand and evolve and provide more and more functionality.
Already, students are organizing the work in the app into a digital notebook. The app allows the student to undo and redo worked solutions and to copy, paste, share, and print materials, adding to their peer interactions. This is a tool for reconnecting students who have been separated by Covid.
I work with several students on the spectrum, and this app is a game changer. Because I exist next to the student as a mediated partner, I can provide instant and individual feedback without the distraction of my physical presence.

Comprehensive and Simple
It allowed me to adapt to remote work easily, and is actually easier for me to keep organized than paper copies.

Cool app
I have played around with it a bit and the dual drawing / writing feature is cool. I can mark up with my finger my daughter’s work in real time so she can see it as we go.

Game Changer
This app smoothly provides the environment for interactive tutoring. Having to now do homeschooling with my 6 year old due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this has provided enormous benefit to our daily schedule.
The scribbling features, and ability to work on the same documents together simultaneously has made life much easier.

Terrific
I’ve been looking for something like this
This app is a little different than similar whiteboard apps in the way it organizes documents by relationship. This is going to help me keep my student work better organized. I also like that I can load up worksheets and copy them into my students’ folders. That way, I retain my master copies. I wish it had a few more drawing tools, but maybe they’ll appear in a future release.

Thanks for the feedback, and yes, we are planing to add some more drawing tools. Straight lines can be troublesome, and trying to draw a good circle or cone is hard to do free hand. And as you use the app more, let us know what other features would be helpful. Thanks.

Excellent Design
This is a quick to learn, difficult to master app with smooth and easy controls. Tutori! has great underlying mechanics that allows for seamless collaboration and tutoring. Absolutely love it!
