Every time I try to open a lesson it closes the app. Everything I can open is in An Asian language. Help?

Why i got the Japanese window pop up when I launch the app when the app supposed to be in English

I would have rated this app better, but I feel that it's too fast paced for someone with very little to no knowledge of coding of any sort. I have no trouble following it, but it could be a little more simplified and explain the meanings of things more.
