This app allows you to browse the web and stream any web video, online movie, livestream, or live TV show directly to your Samsung Smart TV or Blu-ray Player. It supports various video formats including mp4, m3u8, and hls livestreams.
The Pro version includes a Remote Playbar for advanced video control (scrubbing, forward, rewind), the ability to cast local videos from your camera roll, an ad-blocker, unlimited website bookmarks with iCloud sync, and a desktop mode for browsing.
First, you need to install the 'TV Cast' receiver app from the Samsung App Store on your TV. Then, open the app on your mobile device and enter your device's IP address using your Samsung TV remote.
The app does not support iTunes movies, Flash video, and other DRM-protected videos like those from HBO Now. It also only streams the video part of a website, not the entire website content (no screen or tab mirroring).
The app operates on a freemium model. While a basic version is available, advanced features like the Remote Playbar, local video casting, ad-blocker, and unlimited bookmarks are part of the Pro version, which requires a purchase.
