App Review: A Deceptive Experience
I recently downloaded an app that was featured on the “Apps Gone Free” platform, promising a 24-hour promotional offer for lifetime access at no cost. Enticed by the offer, I installed the app and proceeded through the setup process. However, upon reaching the final step to redeem the free lifetime access, I encountered a significant issue: a banner obscured the submit button, rendering it unclickable. This obstruction prevented me from completing the redemption process.  
Subsequently, I discovered that instead of receiving the promised free lifetime access, I was enrolled in a yearly subscription costing $14.99. This unexpected charge felt deceptive and manipulative. The developers’ decision to obscure the redemption button suggests a deliberate attempt to funnel users into a paid subscription under the guise of a free offer. 
In response to this experience, I have removed my payment information from my iTunes Apple ID to prevent any further unauthorized charges. This incident has left me feeling frustrated and disillusioned, as I have never encountered such tactics with any other app.
I strongly advise potential users to exercise caution before downloading this app. The developers appear to prioritize their financial gain over user trust and transparency. Such practices undermine the integrity of promotional offers and erode user confidence.

Works Like A Charm!
I’ve used many apps like this one in the past. However, this one actually works and works well! I contacted Customer Service with some questions and they responded very quickly! THAT alone is worth its weight in gold!

The app look interesting and is temporarily free, but after on boarding, it asked for my password to my Apple account. I was already logged into my Apple account and there was no reason for that. And it specifically wanted me to put the password in a text window and not allowing for my fingerprint. Call me overcautious, but that dinged my WTH meter so it’s deleted.

But not sure about set up. If clear set up instructions is included it would be great help. I have browser screen on tv but no way to invoke the keyboard.

Downloaded the app and nothing, it won’t open at all just stuck on the entry screen. Waste…
App is Not Working
Installed the app to try it out when it featured on AppAdvice Daily as a free app. Installed and opened app but nothing happens other than a static screen with a label ‘TV Remote’ on screen. No other controls or menu items shows to go to the next step.
Does Nothing
I open the app & it just shows a screen that says TV Remote & has a circle with arrows. Never moves past this screen.

It does nothing.
It just displays the splash screen. Tapping anywhere does nothing.
“data not collected”
Privacy policy reveals that usage data is being collected. Why don’t developers be fully transparent when there’s an option instead of pretending that no data is being collected?
I’m giving this app a one-star rating because I’m disappointed that the developers haven’t included “usage data” in the privacy card section of their App Store app, as per their privacy policy.
