DON’T WASTE UR TIME/$$

Don’t waste your money buying, or even your time trying the free trial as IT WILL NOT WORK. What a joke of an app & team that is basically stealing money for a service that doesn’t work (clearly I’m not the only one as per reviews). It connects to tv, but absolutely ZERO functions work on the remote (such as changing the channel, volume control, turning off/on). It physically shows the buttons being pressed but it’s just for show. Asked for a refund, but denied. Pathetic.

The way this app wants a subscription for a remote, and as soon as you launch it wants you to click that subscription is gross. Please dont download this anti consumer garbage.

The worst customer service

So a few months ago my tv remote app stopped working. It wouldn’t work for my work tv or on my home Roku stick. I sent them 3 emails. First one was 4 months ago that I still haven’t gotten a response back. The second one I sent out got a response asking me what the problem was. But it took 2 months for them to respond. I replied and it’s been a month and still nothing. Then this morning I get an email saying that this is the first email they have received. My suggestion is if you have an account with Roku. They have a free app that is better and actually works.

Hello, if you do not actively click to subscribe, no subscription fees will be incurred. We are using the subscription feature provided by iOS. If you have a subscription, you can find it in your Apple ID Settings -> Subscriptions. If you no longer need our service, you can cancel it at any time. Absolutely worthless

Why in the world, does this app make me want to pay, JUST FOR THE FOUR COMMON BUTTONS. I wanted to use the only arrows that allow you to move your tv with the remote. But nah. I need to pay to do that. I’m just not even gonna try this app ever again.

SCAM APP- BEWARE

DID NOT CONSENT TO PAYMENT!!
App costs $8.99/week and I did not consent to this in a pop-up or when downloading the app, just found 4x weekly charges on my monthly credit card statement! It charges directly to your APPLE ID account without you knowing!!!
To unsubscribe, go into your Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions and unsubscribe through there!
I’m calling my credit card company and reporting to Apple Store. Developers, shame on you for keeping this app available.

Overpriced

Completely ridiculous that this is the recommended remote app. Completely overpriced and does the same thing other apps do for free. Do not buy this app unless absolutely necessary.

Don’t get fooled like me!

This app popped up as top hit and looks identical to the actual FREE Roku app when you search ROKU. Mistakenly downloaded this and only showed a price as I double clicked my side button to download.
Also it’s incredibly expensive—-$9?!?! AND $9 a week?!?!?!? This is crazy!!!

$40 “3 day” free trail SCAM

Yeah you search free Roku apps and get this one and then they charge you $40($42 something after tax) before your “free trial” ends, and don’t even comment saying your ridiculous responses, yes I checked to cancel my subscription in the App Store, app itself, and yes it was BEFORE the 3 days were up, I even called customer service for Apple, YOU charged my card not Apple, your ridiculous scam to not even put it “in app purchases”, your “3day free trial” is a total scam as well. And why do I get attacked with ads even during the fee trial, oh I mean free trial. I would love to see your response to this but I’m for sure you will tell me to “ cancel before 3 days or to check with Apple as the scripting go through them or to email your “team”, even tho I’m sure your some dude in a basement can I plz have my money back scammer?

Doesn’t work

Yeah I want my money back. Connects and then disconnects. Even when connected doesn’t do anything. Just got this while I wait for a replacement remote. Hard to believe you charge a weekly subscription for this.
