some suggestions
although I love the app, but I feel the option of editing and existing log is very limited and confusing, and I have imported my data from Letterboxd and while importing the reviews have not been imported, I tried the importing twice, and it still did not work and to go and edit already logged movies. I do not have an option of marking it washed in theatre or even an option to edit my own review, the editing option is very limited and very less. I really do not want to stop using your application. I love this application more than Letterboxd more than IMDb, it’s very interactive. It’s very cool, so please look into these changes.

Thank you so much for the praise, it means a lot! Glad you’re enjoying Omniphile! 🍿🎮📚
Perfection just got better
As a daily Cinephile user, and someone who’s tried all of the competition, nothing comes close to this. Now that the developer has merged all of his apps into one, this is now the undisputed king of media tracking apps. Mario is constantly listening to feedback, updating, fixing and transforming this app into the masterpiece that is it today. Download, buy or subscribe, you’ll never regret it!

A rare gem
This review is as much about the developer as it is about the app itself.
In the endless sea of apps, it has become rare to find something this carefully crafted, this thoughtfully designed, and this relentlessly improved. Cinephile is one of those gems.
Mario, its solo developer, has built an app that fully embraces iOS: haptics, animations, Liquid Glass, smooth transitions, and a level of customization that goes far beyond most movie trackers. From the home screen to individual movie pages, almost everything can be tailored to your preferences.
But behind the eye candy is an app clearly made by someone who genuinely loves movies and statistics. I use it to keep track of what I have watched and when, manage my watchlist, and indulge my inner stats nerd. The statistics are useful, but also presented in a genuinely entertaining way.
The community aspect is just as impressive. Mario is highly active on Reddit and in the app’s own community, responds quickly to bug reports, and treats feature requests as a core part of development. Updates are frequent—sometimes every few days—and the app still feels smooth and stable.
If there is one downside, it is that the sheer number of customization options can feel a little overwhelming at first. But for anyone who values choice, that is hardly a bad thing.
And the pricing is remarkably fair, especially with a one-time purchase option alongside the subscription.
Most importantly: Cinephile is simply fun to use.
