Absolutely no ads and you learn through watching videos about French culture & the various exercises that go with it. There is a transcript to follow along and soo many different videos about all kinds of topics and cultures AROUND THE WORLD. I'm learning more than just French! Cannot recommend enough!!! I never write reviews.

Few courses are not working
I think there’s a bug in the app. Few courses are not opening. When I tried to open it, it’s throwing some error. I hope you fix it asap . I’ll change it to 5 stars once you fix it. I really like the app though
Very interesting
It’s wonderful, lots of topics. But there’s no structure, I don’t know my progress. So it’s more like a fun app if you have a spare time in the train or while standing in a queue. A bit difficult to navigate app from phone, too complicated to find for instance only grammar exercises. It’s very easy though to do it while on the website. But app is limited to a very simple actions.

Can’t believe this is free
It’s SO good. I still suck, but this is the best language teaching thing I’ve found yet.

I completed the test. The image at the start didn’t work and my results were missing. A waste of my time.

I can't get past the choose a level screen
Screen frozen on my phone
I’ve downloaded the app 3 times to try and get it to work but it just freezes on the screen and I can’t respond to questions as the are ‘below’ the screen and therefor not visible.

Best for french
You will want this exact format to learn any other language. IMO the best method to get acquainted with a new language is by being exposed as with your native language. Later, with progress, grammar and the intricacies of the language can be incorporated.

The app uses authentic media sources to create lessons for learning French. Learn vocabulary, spelling, grammar, etc..by watching clips of real tv shows, interviews and the like. Quizzes throughout the lesson help you practice and show you your errors so you can try again. Getting started is a little confusing because you can choose your own lessons, but there are also guided paths by level. The lessons are challenging so it might be a better app for highly motivated learners, especially those with some prior experience with language learning.
