Terrible Ads
I have no problem watching their ads if they don’t purposely make the sound of the ads to be obnoxious and annoyingly loud. The frequency and repeats are a bit crazy too but again willing to support. BUT 70% of the time after you dealt with the ads, the apps forget where you were and reset you to the beginning of the episode. With how stupid their app is, I am afraid buying ad-free will not address the issues. My parents stop using this app because the technical challenges are too much even if they are willing to watch the annoying and boring ads.

Not only the ads but it keeps your login after you deleted app
What’s troubling isn’t only the 11 ads it’s makes you watch but even when I let it track me it’s still advertisement for US mostly (ie Spanish advertisements for US companies when we can watch In Canada and not on VPN).
What is worse is why I deleted the app, I went back in to double check as there was just one old show I was watching and loving that suddenly said I wasn’t allowed in my location. I reloaded the app and it kept my user and password showing. I logged out and removed. Luckily I used the hidden Apple email.
Updated July 11, 2026: App updates got worse. now with same log in it won’t remember on the Apple TV app of what you watched, so you better write down what you were watching and what episode and time if you want to not repeat. (basically other devices and Apple TV aren’t really connected even when same account login). Search categories also worse than before.

Missing episodes
There are random missing episodes in all the dramas! Like “狂潮 (2) “ has episodes 66, 128, and 129 only. What happened to the rest?! Checked the website, and nothing’s missing, just not displaying in the app!

The app itself is useless. You have to watch 6 to 8 ads before you can view the actual show for maybe 10 minutes. Then another 6 to 10 ads will interrupt. Sorry! I’m removing this app!

I have been using this app to watch HK drama and no issue at all. It has been a great app until recently when they added ridiculously long ads. You have to watch 4 ads in the length of 30 seconds each five minutes after you watch the show. And another round of 8 ads will come up after every five minutes. This is NOT good, just find your video on YouTube.

This app is garbage. When I am using an ，i cannot close the ad. When I’m using iPhone, watching an episode of drama, the same five commercials pops up every 5 to 10 minutes and that five commercial three out of five are the latest iPhone pro. This is absolutely ridiculous.
