About
TVOne Player plays the video files you already own — on your television, your phone, your iPad and your Mac.
It has its own player rather than the system one, so the formats that usually fail simply play: MKV, HEVC, 10-bit, multiple audio tracks, and ASS subtitles rendered with the fonts embedded in the file. Hardware decoding keeps it smooth and cool on the device.
YOUR FILES, WHEREVER THEY ARE
• TVOne Server, our free companion for Mac — point it at your folders and every TVOne Player on the network finds it
• Network shares over SMB, discovered automatically or added by hand
• Files on the device itself, dropped in from the Files app on iPhone and iPad
ONE LIBRARY
Posters, episodes gathered under their show, artwork and descriptions, and Continue Watching along the top. Search across everything you have.
PICKS UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF
Watch positions and watched marks are shared between your own devices, so finishing an episode on the television is known to the iPad. Downloads let you take something with you.
NOTHING LEAVES YOUR HOME
No account, no sign-in, no cloud, no analytics, no advertising. Your videos move directly between your own machines and are never uploaded anywhere.

What's New in TVOne Player
1.1.4
September 22, 2026
A season you added to a network share could go missing. Where a release numbers its episodes the same way an earlier season did, TVOne took the two for the same episode and kept only one. It tells them apart now. On the Apple TV, subtitles, audio, speed and the picture setting can be reached while something plays. Pause and the remote lands on the play button; left and right move along the row, and up reaches the timeline.
